as I so stated in the game between vidor and PAM the second place team in district will win this one. Sorry scoreboard and now record books show that PAM lost to PNG, so yes the second place team will win this game. Stir the pot ever so gently

yes sir well he isn't at the helm so let the new era begin where it began and he retired. lol
-
its gonna be funny listening to the excuses coming from Nederland as to why they lost!!
-
he must be the president lol. Im just curious Navydawg31. im assuming you were and or may still be in the navy. Aren't the Navy folks called squids and not dawgs? I thought the marines were the devil dawgs and not the Navy?

no not defensively, I would have to set the record straight there. The 09 team I thought had a better defense in my opinion, That team was fun to watch, I liked watching Doty, Harmon, and Dron play. but this years offense has also been fun to watch,

there you go living in the past again. That is all the bulldog faithful are good for, we won 6 years in a row. Well after this Friday PNg will be 2-0 in the last two meetings. Gonna give yall a loss on your field just to add a lil insult to injury. Sorry last year or the 6 before it don't matter, all that matters is this week and the end result, a bulldog loss!

Poor PAK, his team is fighting for their lives for second Place participation trophies, to top it off he is backing the bulldogs putting all his hopes and dreams on a cross town rivalry game, he is gonna be so disappointed when the Indians scalp them pesky bulldogs.
-
just my two cents, I think Vidor loses to the second best team in the district and that is PAM.

I guess when the clock strikes o.oo and there is no time left, the dogs will be crying and the Indians will Be smiling. Im sure there will be excuses, the Refs, the trick plays, Illegal holding calls that took away touchdowns. Shoulda woulda coulda, we have a 6 year streak but in the end that is all you will have to hold on to is a 6 year streak. yall keep living in the past, this is the present and there is a purple and white tribe coming to Invade Nederland Friday night. Lets go ahead and hear yalls excuses now. Lets see how colorful and creative the Bulldogs can be.

Mid County Madness, I think this game will be an excellent game. Weather should be right, stands will be packed, black and gold on the home side, Purple and white on the visitors side, Parking will be horrible and kids will be running everywhere. Nothing better than the #1 rivalry in the state of Texas, what more could you ask for. Ned hoping to Play the Spoiler, PNG walking the walk, talking the talk. When the bleacher creatures powder of dust settles it will be an undefeated district champ walking out with smiles on their faces and the lonely bulldogs crying a river of tears with their tails tucked while being patted on the back by Pakronus . There is a wanted poster of STATTRAX on every telephone pole on Nederland ave, wanted for trespass parking in peoples ditches. The reward is slowly climbing right now it is at a mere $5.oo almost the price of admission to the game. This is the Game RJ aka superman will pad his stats with another W whether he is handing off the ball in the second half or throwing in the first half, not to mention running at will and taking this rivalry on his shoulders, I can see two linebackers spying on him at all times, should be a dandy. With that being said, anyone who wants to come by and kick my neighbors bulldog with me feel free to stop by, it is a great stress reliever!!!

we split with a corpus Christi area team once in the Alamo dome where we choked on pitiful defense, stopped the wing t they went pass mode and burnt us on long passing plays because we didn't have a cornerback or safety prepared for them to throw the ball. Second year beat the brakes off of them like we should have done the first year -

if you are talking preseason matchups I would agree, but as far as district games it is what it is you play who is in your district. Im all for playing WOS every year because they are good and close, I would love to play a more powerful opponent than someone say Silsbee but I guess the coaches just look for something local. I can remember playing in the dome against Brenham and someone else forgot with double headers with Nederland, I enjoyed that but coaches do what coaches do. -
we think alike, but I don't think their defense is up for the task of stopping this offensive machine that we have. I know they will score some points and move the ball, but as I have said all our defense needs to do is make a few stops, and if any turnovers are forced by them then that is all we can ask. Get the ball in our offenses hands and let them do what they do and put points on the board. I want to score just not too quickly, don't need our defense right back out there getting tired.
-
doesn't really matter who was the best player then or now, all that matters is this team puts up points and hasn't been stopped yet. Until they do, I would be worried. it wont be no easy task for Nederland to stop two players, but we don't have two players we have and offense that plays as a team and is a well tuned, oiled up machine. The dogs were better last year and they couldn't stop us don't see much changing in that department. PNG is better on paper and they are better in person, plain and simple. Cant wait for it to happen MCM is always a fun night for high school football, even better for taking jabs at coworkers, friends and family, You gotta love it.

you will like it better than the barking fans over there. The kids are brain washed at an early age and it filters on decades later. Great fan base, but at same time the dogs follow their team pretty good as well. No if you truly wanna see the hatred for the purple and white go sit with Pakronus, ha I bet he still has a bad taste in his mouth.
