Lol I wouldn't call them good, but they are improving a little, still have a long way to go before I would call them good. Kids are going in the right direction , just taking babysteps.

Great win for the pirate faithful, 2 weeks from now we will see who the district champs for 20-4A will be. Ned and vidor will be a great matchup, someone has to lose, who will it be??? Full steam ahead to district. Good luck to both teams

I'm not gonna give up on them, I am seeing some improvements. Turnovers were a problem, each qb threw a pick one for a pick 6, shouldn't have been thrown into triple coverage.  Defense is just flat, need some big plays to get them some confidence. Maybe they will wakeup and get it together. The only weakness I saw for sc was their secondary, a true passing qb will give them fits, their running game just crushed us, big agile quick elusive backs, very impressive, again congrats to them they came to win!

Good learning experience, looks bad on the scoreboard, even worse in person. SC had way too many weapons on both sides of the ball, no doubt they are playoff bound. I actually stayed till well after it was over just to absorb how bad they looked. We still need a lot of work, got a bye week to make some adjustments. I look for ky walker to get the nod at QB in the first district game. We shall see.

It wasn't good. No defense whatsoeever! Kick return was sweet might see a few more if clark can stay healthy. Soph qb made some nice plays, think he earned the starting job after tonight. Great game by the sc bulldogs, didn't care to much for all the taunting, but it is what it is, they were surely the better team, good luck to them and enjoy the ride!

Well PNG, think we are not where we need to be. We need work everywheres, think we just need to get a couple of big plays on both sides of the ball to get some confidence.  But just my opinion it is and will be a long season for us. From what I heard summercreek put up some big #s last week. Be interesting to see how this one turns out.

I know exactly how it goes, I had the unfortuneate pleasure of being coached by jeff "the jet" bergeron when I was a junior. Man for a png legend, he sure was a hard one to please. He rode me like a pack mule. Don't think I was ever once told by him good job. Guess his attitude kinda rubbed off on me lol.

Come on brenhamfan, you know you were on the edge of your seat that game, png getting the onside kick with time running out and throwing a pick in the endzone. I think your exact words were that y'all took the foot off the gas pedal. Lol it was all brenham in the first half, but the second was much different. As ugly as it was,a win is a win and a loss is a loss. That was a hard one to swallow.

Hate to hear that, bad decision on his part but I don't know the circumstanses. Good luck to him, but all this is is a chance for someone else to get a chance to make a name for themselves. Maybe faircloth will change his mind who knows.

Lol wishful thinking. After watching that three years makes one think just how lucky we were to have those players. This years crop has me scratching my head. One thing for sure is you can't always have the talent like that come thru. Got to have a bad year every now and then. Seems that way anyway.

Enjoying all this trash talk. I would partake but I'm still swaying on how ugly this game will probably be. I thought the running game was a lil better, just a lil. Believe we may find some offense, hopefully coach won't call for the fleaflicker!  Some how we found a way to botch it up. I'm guessing he will split time with the Qbs again. Think he should go with one or the other. Don't like splitting their time, need to make a decision, we are running out of nondistrict matchups!

I'm thinking the same thing,why is he worring about png, we are the last team they need to worry about, this years team may only win a handful of games, as much as it hurts me to say it. Think 87 needs to worry about angleton this week. I always pull for my distrfict but listening to 87 It wouldn't hurt my feelings none if ned lost so we could hear all the excuses. I think with neds defense, it may be the difference. But I do see angletons speed giving them fits! Good luck to both teams.

Saw some good things last night, but we still have a long ways to go. The way it looks, I see things that need to be worked on. Got to get a handle on the penalties,first. Had a respectable return after a punt return by the stangs, clark has heart no doubt . At the ozen- memorial game its halftime here pam up 15-8. Interesting game. Sitting here with some vidor faithful and a lone central fan.

Well learned a couple of things. First wos has a great man to man defense, like we didn't know lol. Second don't kick it straight to the return man he's gonna go to the house. Third our starting qb is scared to take a hit as advertised. Fourth our offense found a way to move the ball a lil bit. Runningback is getting positive yardage. Don't think defense is doing that bad considering after they settled down, but secondary still not up to par. We are taking babysteps but it is a good thing. We prooved wos s defense can be scored on. So far no real injuries to speak of that is a great thing. Hear ned is pimping goosecreek mem at will. Two pick sixes, defense wins game by theirselves, don't see goosecreek scoring anymore unless the scrubs come in.

Very nice comment by the defensive guru. Maybe one day when he's tired of the nfl he will come back and teach some defense here, lord knows we need it.

I agree it was a great rivalry, have had some great memories from them, wos has always been tough for as long as I can remember! I'm glad they are playing us and it doesn't hurt that it is at the rez either.  I would have liked to have seen memorial too but for some reason it didn't happen.  I don't believe silsbee is a bad team at all, they are very athletic, and young they will be very tough next year no doubt! Still see them as a playoff contender this year!

I don't have a dog in this fight, but it doesn't matter who you face in pre district, it what it is. Vidor had a goodrun last year and made some noise. They are riding a high and that is great. The realsparks are gonna fly when district starts. It doesn't matter where we play (png) at the boneyard or the reservation. The only fear I have of playing at the boneyard is yalls scoreboard may quit in the last quarter as that has happened before.lol I expect a good clean game and may the beast team win. What about the game wos won 3-0, png took opening drive down to the one yard line and got stuffed four straight times only to have wos win on a 48 yard fieldgoal with 48 seconds left. Png then driveds down the field gets to about the 21 yardline or so as time runs out. I believe that is the game you are talking about and that was the year we lost to stephensville. We played ned the last game of the season, we were unranked and spanked ned at home 31- 8 and took their #9 ranking right off their scalps. That was a fun year to watch the ndns. Had burnett gone for the fieldgoal instead of the TD I'm sur it would have been ot and who knows what would have happened. And the game that franks took it to the house, that run was incredible, he ran to the wedge hurdled the line hit the sidelines and was gone, crazy that we kicked the ball to him lol, what a bad mistake to kick to him lol I let a few words fly with that call lol.

Gotta agree with you there, I don't think either team is thinking that, this will be a great test for the indians on both sides of the ball. Whomever said wos was mediocre wasn't very knowledgeable I'm sure.
