I'm curious as to why all of a sudden they are bringing up the younger qb. I'm not complaining but maybe with AJ at wideout with his size and speed, it might be a good thing. But I too don't see coach faircloth getting away from him at QB. His size is a plus and speed too. As for the running game, I don't know what we are gonna do, it just hasn't been there yet. Defensively is a big question too, still say if a team can throw the ball it will be our downfall. Friday can't get here soon enough.

no turnovers or flags, surely a plus. Since the arrival of faircloth, our offense has been very productive, its the defense which seems to be the weak link at times. Looks to be a great challenge the coach this year. Think this season will be one tough son of a gun this year. Should be one of the most competitive districts in years.

Unless wos just turns the ball over everytime they touch it we are gonna be in a real dogfight! Our leading rusher last week had a total of 33 yards. You may not like what I post but I'm not gonna run from the facts, we got a lot of speedbumps to smoothout. I know it is early in the season, but getting through these next two weeks isn't gonna be a cake walk. I saw two big fellas on the sidelines, I'm guessing they are injured haven't really heard much, saw them on the sidelines of the scrimmage,anyone know when they will be coming back?? I believe one of. Them may be Reasons if I'm not mistaken? As for AJ playing receiver this is the first I have heard! Wondering to myself how this will unfold, somekind of Razzle dazzle gimmick play or something. Be interesting to see if he can catch and get some yac yards afterwards. Who knows????

really AJ running for 140 yards on wos, are you kidding me????  Did you fall on your head and bump it??? AJ will be lucky to get 50 yards rushing on their defense. Incase you haven't noticed, AJ may be the best runner we have and that ain't saying much. I would really be suprised if png scores at all, if we do it will be a plus. Kinda like your delusional thoughts though, you obviously don't know football.

awesome sack no doubt but comparing lcms offense to pngs isnt exactly close. but i agree they will have to step it up, the stangs defense can and will bring the wood. Im glad we have yall back on the schedule it has been long over due. its just a shame that it wasnt three years sooner, i would say we would have gotten wins the last three years, but with this years team i wouldnt think like that. But come Friday i guess we shall find out.

no arguements here. that was a good summary of the second half, silsbee dropped the ball repeatedly, sad thing is they were wide open. #7 i would say is the best athlete of many that yall have. i think giving yall the ball on the 10 yardline was a fluke accident. Mental accident hopefully that wont happen again. The tigers had excellent field position in the first half and could only muster up 6 points, but in the second half they had long fields and moved the ball very well. i cant say that yall should have won by two, i saw two drops by yall that were touchdowns and one by us that would have been a touchdown. needless to say the backjudge was horrible and both teams made mistakes. i like the play calling going for it on fourth down, gutsy call made us look stupid, if they dont flag yall that might have led to a score too! Bothe teams have a lot of work to do, but even with a loss i believe yall were the better team. good luck to yall

goose creek could combine all three schools from baytown and still couldnt piece together a team to beat nederland, ned in a runaway 28-14! if they dont turnover the ball it could be a lot worse

i wouldnt say that it wont happen, but it would probably have to happen with a injury to AJ, heaven forbid. The younger kid walker will get his chance sooner or later. It is AJs time right now win or lose i repect Faircloths decesion whether right or wrong, it isnt for me to say. MAybe he keeps it vanilla as for playcalling maybe he doesnt. But one thing is for sure , what we saw last night was as ugly as i have ever seen in a long time. Im just on the outside looking in and what i opinionate on this board doesnt mean squat, but i call it like i see it and i know it is early but i honestly think that we are in for a long year. PS unless you just absolutely dont make away games for nederland  i have an extra ticket if you want to come watch png vs wos, it would be good to hear from someone else on what they see on the field. we dont have a good record against the stangs, think we have lost the last 7 if im not mistaken. Wos has a very good defense. From what i saw last night i dont think the offense we have is gonna cut the mustard. no running game it is non existent! AJ throwing the ball over chipmans head over and over isnt gonna cut it. we will have to spread out the stangs defense and go vertical if they are capable of getting that done. we wont have any success running the ball if we dont, im sorry no running game regardless. It wont get any easier the week after that either. i hate to say it but if i was in the pickems i would go with the stangs.

it will get ugly for us next week if we dont find somekind of a running game. I was suprised that we only went vertical one or two times. AJ showed good arm strength throwing it down field only to have the receiver drop it behind the secondary. Silsbee got in stride the second half and moved the ball very well. if they wouldnt have dropped the 12 passes that were very catchable it would have been  a different story on the scoreboard.  we cannot give anyone the ball inside our own 30 three times and expect to win. Our running game must improve. seems like the only dinky dink pass play that would work for us was to #30, he had a heck of a game, looks like he is gonna be a physical player for us provided he doesnt get hurt. Rose looked good on the end around for a td. Secondary needs to get it together, silsbees receivers were open on every play, we give wos that it will bad news. the third and fourth quarter for us wasnt good. We have alot of work to do on both sides of the ball. I think the tigers will be fine, the fake punt was a great call burnt us but with the flag was a awful setback.  In my opinion the refs just let the wideouts and cornerbacks go at it. horrible officiating at best. how can you call for a fair catch and get wrapped up after catching it. overall i was impressed with Silsbee, their backfield is young and they are only  gonna get better, if they make half the catches that they dropped, the score woud have been different. we got lucky no doubt, good luck to the tigers, yall have no reason to hang your heads, going for two was a ballsy call but i think the slant or just running the ball with the big back would have been safer. Tough first game for both teams, went down to the last 40seconds, what a way to open week 0! For PNG, we got to get it together, it wont get any easier the next two games, then a bye week and district looks like it will be even tougher, no suprise NED found their defensive mojo, central hung with memorial, scratching my head on that one, ozen got a w on westbrook, vidor dominated sante fe, lumberton and lcm got a loss and we squeeked by just barely, just barely. All i can say is this is gonna be an interesting year.

Lol its all good ,kids are doing good things, just had a bad day at work and looking to vent, people on silsbee side griping about coaching, so I fit in well lol. Would like to see some better play in second half, ready to go out in second half and make a showing on defense. Png doesn't give the tigers the ball at the 10 they don't score. Simple mistake cost us. If we were losing it would be the same, got to criticize lol

This is the most pathetic game I've ever seen. Aj can't throw a decent deep ball, throwing lil short pass to #30 is about the only play we can run, defense still needs work in the pass coverage department. Punter with his knee on ground at the ten yard line really??????? Png may go 2-8 at best, we are in trouble! Hope second half looks better, chipman. Ain't putting any effort into making a catch. Makes you really wonder how good nelson and miller really were.  Looking at png from opposite side is different, but at least I can speak. My mind and don't get bad looks from parents lol, see what second half brings, hear ned is wiping the floor with crosby. Heard crosby can't even get a first down. Wow

Lol I wouldn't say nothing about her in livingston, but on the message board defineately. When I think of calling a game I guess I just expect to do exactly that call it. Don't scream it at the top of your lungs lol. Its all good I don't plan on attending that game anyway, stands are horrible, small and the bathroom facilities absolutely suck. I will have to torture myself and listen to it on 92.5 which I might add isn't much better, sounds muffled like they are in a sealed box, good luck to the lions none the less.
