  1. Not a change of heart - if you look at my earlier post - I said that BC would probably win due to the fact they have more threats than WOS. However, it will be closer than originally predicted. Tigers12 - BC still wins! You're living "on the edge" of a dream there buddy! Not trying to deplete your "karma" that's so dumb anyway.....just letting you know that your not basing your "prediction" on "facts", just your "hopes, wishes and dreams"! BC still flies high at the end of this one! ;D
  2. The BC bsb pitcher also has to sit out on Friday. The sb player is a great kid, knows she "reacted" instead of "responded", but I also believe that all the blame should not be on her....it should've been handled there on the spot and no one is talking about that. Question that umpire right there - call a conference or something, (whatever they do) and get the story straight - just like you would question any other call during a game. It'll all work out because whether Tigers12 wants to admit it or not, he knows that BC will probably pull it out....he's just living in a dream world where Cheater is paying him off! ;D
  3. East TX, although that would be the "right" thing to do - don't be surprised if you don't see her on that field Friday night.....sounds like he's serious as a "heartattack" in regards to "setting the right example". I personally think the circumstances are a little cloudy to enforce that at this point, however I am not the AD.
  4. Sorry meant to say that WOS will have the "opportunity" to knock BC off its "perch", but will have to play their A game thus far. Let me say this, if it was WOS team from last year - YES they would beat BC. But that was that and this is this!
  5. Tigers12 - that is totally wishful thinking on your part! I believe it will be a much closer contest, WOS could possibly knock BC off its 60 plus District wins, but they will have to play their BEST game with 0 mistakes! BC is still capable of winning, they have more in their arsenal than that player that is a play maker -but some of those others will have to STEP UP to be sure BC gets the win!
  6. So it's not necessarily a UIL rule to suspend players that are ejected? This must be something associated within the District or the School itself then, correct? ???
  7. I have to agree with Joefriday on this one. The umpire even admitted to the alleged ejected player that the HF catcher did in fact "instigate" the "confrontation". My vote (not that it matters much), either both players get ejected or both players get warned. I believe that it wasn't so much that either player wanted to "fight" one another as much as "reaction" in the heat of battle!
  8. TXBaseball - What are you talking about? A little bit of envy on this softball team? ??? As for the Angelle girls, everyone knows that they are supportive!
  9. r we talkin local kids? if not Cody - Elena Clinton - BC - she finished her district as Co-MVP and an ERA of .16 overall I think her ERA was a stunning .59!
  10. BC's Sr. Ashley Lapeyrolerie .353 batting avg. overall! Made 1st team 24-3A!
  11. Going with Jaques from BC - although as some referred to her she may not be as "polished" - she gets it done! Named District 24-3A Offensive Player of the Year. AVG. .451 overall .541 in District Led team in RBI's with 30 overall and 21 in District! 11 SB Fielding % of .983 overall 1.000 in District 3 passed balls all year Threw out 5 of 7 attempting to steal! Definitely qualifies!
  12. DITTO Cody - just get 'r done so we can watch ya in Austin!
  13. BC's Jenna Angelle should get the nod! Not fair to say that just because 4A doesn't HAVE anyone that she should be locked out due to too many SS - you will always have a large amount of SS's - consider all-state nominations! Here's Jennas STATS both overall and district - take a look! Offensive Stats: Season District G - 20 10 AB-51 22 H-19 12 2B-6 4 HR-2 2 RBI-12 11 R-22 17 SB-6 6 Sac-5 3 OB%-.475 .516 Slg%-.529 .680 Avg-.373 .400 Fielding Stats: Season District Fielding % .940 .958 PO-24 PO-10 A-23 A-13 E-3 E-1 Also was named District 24-3A first team! I would say she qualifies!
  14. Just for kicks and giggles...Here are Lauren's stats - she had a TREMENDOUS season as a soph. Batting AVG. .529 (in District it was .639) SLG % .657 OB% .560 SB 11 SO 3 BB 5 R 25 RBI 12 3B 2 2B 5 H 37 AB 70 G 20 Fielding % .940 PO 13 A 34 E 3 She was also named CO-MVP in District 24-3A as a SOPHOMORE! IMPRESSIVE! :!: Triple threat - speed, bat, glove
