  1. I watched them last year in the Nederland tournament, they were ok. They were ranked top 20 at first and didn't make the playoffs. I'll be seeing more of them this year at the Orangefield tournament. Good luck.
  2. 19-4A Barbers Hill Crosby Dayton Galena Park Goose Creek Memorial Hou. C.E. King Hou. North Forest Kingwood Park 20-4A Central Little Cypress-Mauriceville Livingston Lumberton Nederland Ozen Port Neches-Groves Vidor 21-3A Bridge City Hamshire-Fannett Hardin-Jefferson Orangefield Silsbee West Orange-Stark 23-2A Anahuac Buna Deweyville East Chambers Hardin Kountze Warren 23-1A Burkeville Colmesneil Evadale Goodrich High Island Hull-Daisetta Sabine Pass Spurger West Hardin If there is no line through your schools name, I still need someone to test me their scores.
  3. HillGuy, you are on this board therefore I think Barbers Hill should be reconginzed, I don't see anyone from the Baytown schools on here...That's all I'm saying.
  4. It's not just boundries, but how many from any of those schools have you seen on this board?
  5. Good point, but I think there is enough (at least 14). Plus dividing it makes it impossible for OF or HJ to be ranked higher than BH in the same poll. ;D Keep the rankings at top 10 only. 14? 20-4A has 8 19-4A has Barbers Hill ??-5A has West Brook and Memorial Who else?
  6. Believe it or not a lot of us on here don't really care. : When did we start covering Houston teams?
  7. I tried keeping up with the volleyball scores this year, and it was like pulling teeth. So I am going to try to get a person from each school in the area to text me their scores during basketball season. PM me if you can be that person. Since I bring my computer with me to all the Orangefield games, I can post your scores as I get them texted to me. Last year I had someone from Central and that's about it. Thanks!
  8. I don't like them being divided. Only because there are not a lot of 4A/5A teams to choose from.
  9. I've never watched her play basketball, but FINALLY Orangefiled will get to play them this year.
  10. I don't have anything to do with the poll, but the guys who do, do a good job. Not everyones going to be happy, but now that you brought up Anahuac I bet they get more votes next time.
  11. Lady Bears fight off scrappy Lady Bulldogs Van Wade The Orange Leader LITTLE CYPRESS — They had their mettle tested early on but the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears made sure they were going to maintain their first-place status in the District 20-4A volleyball standings Tuesday night. Fourth-place Nederland pushed the Lady Bears to the limit in the first two games but LC-M poured it on in the end to notch a 24-26, 25-22, 25-11, 25-12 victory at The Bear Cave. Senior Christine Sicktich powered the way at the net for the Lady Bears (26-7, 9-1) but had plenty of help from fellow senior hitters Ashton LaVergne and Shelby Apperson. Sicktich finished with a match-high 14 kills while LaVergne posted 13 and Apperson 12. Sicktich also had a “smooth†service game, notching 16 kills to go along with eight aces. Allison Walker claimed 11 points and four aces. Elissa Tate had a solid all-around performance, collecting nine points, four kills and an ace. Shelby Sanchez served up eight points and two aces. Shelby Tucker contributed six points and Kalyn Harkness has three points and an ace. Full Story Here
