How many are even on varsity? Orangefield only loses 3, returns 7! HJ loses 4, not sure on how many return, but their JV was undefeated in district.

I think there was a little over 5000 tonight.

Good game! I was there and I thought Hall played a really great game.

The gym is smaller than a lot of high schools around here, I would try to get there early.

I do not have a personal vendetta against Evadale. : I would have liked to play Kountze again because we played them so close twice.

Make the districts an even number in each region like it used to be. The byes throw teams off I think, you get in a rhythm and then wait a week and you'll play again. :

I never said losing to Kountze was going to hurt Evadale. I just said Kountze was going to win and win BIG! Evadale is a VERY good 1A team, and I wish them the BEST of luck!

I forgot to mention we missed a lot free throws. WHAalum, I think you might be right. Maybe we should have flipped for seeding and tried to play Evadale, Woodville, or Kountze, playing those teams would have been less of an emotional game win or lose. There is always next year. We don't rebuild, we just reload 8)

Silsbee wanted to flip. H-J did not. At that impasse, Silsbee was going to concede the first seeding, so the game was played. Worked out pretty well for Silsbee. Thanks for your original thinking and input. I know who wanted to flip and who didn't, but thanks anyway??
