I'd love to know what you think about Orangefield and Brabers Hill too...

I can totally understand that, but there are local tournaments other than Evadale's that you could play in. Also, the Gulf Coast Classic in Barbers Hill is a good one, not too far away. And regarding the Bobcats own tourney, a couple of tougher opponents in that one wouldn't hurt. I completly agree!

Also, our Admin. will not let us travel to tournaments that we have to stay over night. : > So we have to stay local...

Most teams are not really willing to play Orangefield, because what Sabine Pass or other schools are to us, we are to them...like Ozen... We should try getting these 4A & 5A: West Brook, Central, Vidor and Memorial... And if you want to play small schools try Kountze, Newton, or even Anahuac Buna, Deweyville, Hemphill, Starks LA. aren't to tough...

I think Imma and Granny are the team managers, and they just HOPE Silsbee will go to State so they get to miss class. I for one think HJ has a great program, a great team year in and year out. They've lost 3 games! I'll take a 'down' year like that ANY YEAR! So what if Silsbee wins district, congrats...its about time...but the games still have to be played, and just because you MIGHT beat HJ, doesn't mean you automatically win state. So again, HJ by 15.

I didn't think they were bashing the coach...they were giving reasons of why they thought EC is 1-12. Losing a lot of players, new coach. All could be factors.
