One offical was from the Beaumont Chapter and the other from College Station Chapter (the one that blew the call was from the College Station Chapter, he always called in Navasota's district games.) They both let a lot of calls go, which is good for Orangefield because we didn't have the depth Navasota had, Allie Beach and Aimee Scales both fouled out, both of them are our big girls underneath. The guy from our district called in the HJ/Orangefield in HJ. How are we sure?? A techinal foul to the bench for cheering with ONLY one second left? Pretty clear to me.

All I want is it to be fair. I know it is going to be hard for the new coaches to try to presuade the orginal 21-3a coaches for their votes. As long as Orangefield got an MVP, 2 first team and 2 second team I will be happy. If not I'm gonna be >

Excuses? Its a fact you weren't at the game and you are selling our girls short! They got SCREWED. We would have won if he wouldn't have called a techinal on our bench for NO FREAKING reason. Don't worry Lady Cats, your real supporters know you really should have won, the ref did it because he wanted to give that game to them and he did. I'm sure if we would have been close even in overtime he would have made made sure the Bobcats wouldn't win.

They don't usually pick it until after everyone is out of the playoffs, I was thinking they would have picked it today, but I could be wrong.

You know I have a real hard time believing that if the same thing had happened between Navasota and your Lady Mustangs that you would be handling it quite as well. Not that you guys had any chance of heading to the regional tournament this year. However, there was a terrible injustice done to the Lady Bobcats in that game and everyone knows it. No one said anything about the Navasota girls. In fact, all the Orangefield fans have handled this with incredible dignity. You can play that we missed a layup here, turned the ball over here crap all day long....bottom line is Orangefield got screwed by a ridiculous official. To have your entire season ended by a cowardly call like that has to be gutwrenching for Ofield players and fans alike. Just give them time to get over it. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Marissa is playing AAU this summer, I think she is going to get more self confident and be just fine. Or at least thats what I am hoping.

Were you at the game? I hope Navasota wins state because we ALL know who really should have won that game, and say what you want about overtime, there should not have been an over time. It's like saying ok well you won, but lets play extra just because...NO POINT. Navasota is a good team, they didn't talk trash out on the court, and they have a lot of depth, but we won that game BEFORE we had to play the pointless over time.

I'm not sure about the Juniors, probably. I know they were the only Orangefield group that didn't go to Nationals.

I coached the Seniors (13-14), we havhad to go all the way to HJ to win ;D

What all teams are going to be on the girls side? Last yeah HF was not in Orangefields Boys regional tournament, but we played the girls in our regionals. I hope Orangefield gets the girls tournament. ;D
