Tigervoice, it looked like an easy pick. HJ has been playing great and winning against great teams, they are #4 in the state. I would have picked HJ to win, by at least 10, but I am very glad to see Silsbee pull this one out.

I think the next player should be Ang Green, having 33 pts against the #4 team in the state is worthy of being the player of the week.

I was very worried almost the whole game. HF has imporved a lot, I think they are going to upset someone this season, I just hope its not Orangefield!! Congrats to both teams. KK Little again had an awesome game. Allie Beach also played huge for us last night. Good job ladies lets keep it up.

Why did Vidor only have 3 girls on the court?

They were bad. Apparently there is no such rule as 3 seconds in the lane or a 5 second count? They literally stood in the middle of the lane and not a one 3 second call. We need to take care of the ball, throwing the ball to a post in the corner with 8 seconds left down by one and at her feet, is not smart at all.

We were so off it was unbelievable. Marissa was the only player to hit a 3! I hope we are on tomorrow. Allie Beach did very very good tonight.

I don't know how you figure that. KK constantly scores over 20 pts a game easy. KK can score from anywhere not just when she is in a certain position. I'm not taking anything away from Ang at all, she did have a bad game against Orangefield, but I don't think she is better than KK.

Its not hiding behind a keyboard. I mean honestly if he were to tell the coach who he is it COULD effect things between people its better to "hide" so it won't cause anything more than a heated argument on a message board. We all have our opinions, I wasn't a big Ancelot fan, but I supported our team no matter what. Its ok to not think the same as everyone else.

If your definition of "ok" is 30 plus points against a state ranked team ya know than you're right! She is better than good, she scores, but she isn't a ball hog, she plays very good defense forces a lot of turnovers, and she may be little, but she still can rebound the ball! She is only comparable to Ang Green in this area, who by the way only had 15 pts against her.

KK Little of Orangefield. I don't know her stats, but just read the Orange Leader she's in there everytime we play. She is the best player in this area, and thats my nomination.

Really? They looked good against Orangefield and they did beat Silsbee. I thought they'd make it for sure. Dayton and Ozen must be pretty good.

I will say when I saw the JV play they had 2 players who I thought could easily be on their varsity, and he carries a lot of girls on his varsity team. Maybe some should be on JV, not playing doesn't do much for their confidence.

I know, I was there and saw the game. If LCM would have made their layups they would have pulled it out. Thats why I thought they'd win their district match up.

No way! They lost to a weak Kville this year. Jasper might beat WOS and maybe BC. Silsbee is good I think 3rd is between them and HF honestly I think it will be Silsbee on top, the fight for first is between HJ and Orangefield (if we keep playing well) Jasper is getting better each year, but I don't this is going to be their break through year.
