Just a lot of frustration with the whole situation. My main hurt is with the Lady Horns whose hopes were up for really nothing. I apologize for anything I said that might have offended anyone.
Good post, I also apologize for anything I have said. I was a little hard on bucket and I am sorry for that. My daughter graduated in 08 so I don't watch as much basketball as I used too. I still keep up with it though. I would pull for HJ though. I have to pull for anyone from 21-3A.
No, after my sister graduated in 2010 I haven't been to many games - I hope Vidor wins.
 6. Huffman  vs Orangefield at 6:00 pm Tuesday at East Chambers #5 Barbers Hill vs Lumberton at 7:30pm Tuesday at East Chambers Vidor vs Dayton at 7:00pm Monday at Hardin-Jefferson
 7. Huffman Lady Falcons vs Orangefield Lady Bobcats @ East Chambers HS @ 6:00 pm Tuesday February 12th Game and teams are correct.
 8. Bridge City followed the rules - that's been decided by the district committee.  HF's players should have never been told they MIGHT have a playoff.
 9.
I'd like to sincerely apologize to all our forum Kittykats for defending and trying to fight for what's right for a group of girls who were just told yesterday they still had a chance at the playoff's. Clerical error or not it was still something that caught the attention of UIL. I could only imagine the hurt the girls felt today when they found out there shot was taken away from them. I could only imagine the uproar there would be if it were of in Hamshire's shoes.  ::)
Their "shot" was their game against BC, which was a loss.
 10.
Not surprised.....  the right thing is slowly diminishing in this country.... heard OF used  some type of loop hole...not sure of that accuracy, but if that was the case....sad
::) ::) I bet Coach Katie Sanders - a FIRST year head coach - knows all the loop holes.  ::)
 11. Why should Orangefield have to play HF because Bridge City messed up?  Orangefield might need this time to heal injured players.  HF should have won and this wouldn't be an issue - they didn't.
 12. Where are the Vidor fans to comment on this game?
 13. How many people who have made predictions actually seen Yates play this year?
I agree with some of the things you have said but "Talent" on the basketball court "NO".  The teams from 2006-2007 like Silsbee, Orangefield, WOS, Kirbyville, Hamphire Fannett, Lumberton, Central and Hardin Jefferson could beat Ozen, Central and Vidor with no problem. There is nobody in this area with the talent like Brittany Scott, Brittany James, Chelsey Pickering, Courtney Wilson,  Katie Sanders, Kristy Sanders and Ang Green. There is a lot more I can mention. I have seen Ozen play and was not impressed. By the way it was against Orangefield and they beat us pretty bad.
You forgot KK Little, but I'm not surprised ;)

 20.

HJ is good no doubt, but they did only beat HF by 11 the other night and it was closer till they pulled the ball out and let #14 take her girl to the bucket every time. It all just depends on who shows up to play. Anybody can be beat.
I wish a group of girls from Orangefield would play AAU during the summer like B Scott, Katie and Kristy Sanders, KK Little...and so on. I agree with you and only proves my point because HJ is average at best. I would love to see a team from 21-3A make it to the state tournament, just don't see that happening any time soon. I hope my post will motivate some teams to get better and strive for that goal. I just don't see the drive in young people like I used too. Not in high school sports anyway. Parents and kids are more consumed with AAU, Select and so on. There is no loyalities to a high school program anymore which is sad because those should be the best years in a young persons life.
