1. Who did HJ lose to Ozen?  I mean...Who "moved"?
2. Hillguy, you're not putting BH in the semis?
3. HJ is the team to beat. Orangefield lost some key players last year. Not sure what HF or Silsbee have coming back.
4.
Gotta add the recruiting skills of Ozen to the list.....  Seems to me they could give Tarkanian, Bob Huggins and Rick Pitino a run for their money....
But Central will still win their district.
5.
You take Brittany Scott and Brittany James off those WOS teams ,they do not go to the regional tournament 3 years in a row. Matter of fact they do not make it out of district.
Agreed!!!
6. She wasn't great, she was good - not great.
7. Dove Hunter, are you from Orangefield?
8.
Last I heard two players dont win championships. I dont think the Univ of Texas has a good football or basketball coach they win enough to keep their jobs. Texas has one National ChaMPIONSHIP IN THE PAST 30 YEARS and the basketball team has none but like I said they win enough to keep their jobs. Most people in the world work enough to keep their jobs. Everybody dont do a outstanding job but THEY DO ENOUGH TO KEEP THEIR JOBS. Coaches do help players to become good. Those two players did learn something from her. The best talent does not always win championship. Did you do enough this year to keep your job? She did. Its more then wins and losses before u cast a judge on anybody. Do you know her?? Were her players at practice all the time? Do they go to class? Is there parent support? Is there support from the athletic or administrative department? so before you judge know all the facts. And know she was told she didnt do enough to keep her job. WOW
I said she was good enough to keep her job, but I don't think she is that great of a coach...I also don't think Ancelot was a great coach either.  If WOS would have had a great coach, they would have won state that year.  They has the Brittany's and they had two big posts...Should she keep coaching now at WOS - yes.  Is she the best coach in this area - not even close.
9. I thought WOS should have won state with B. Scott was a junior and B. James was a senior, they by far had the most talent at the regional tournament, they were out coached. I don't think she's a very good coach, she just had a lot of talent, but she's good enough to keep her job.  Did she want to keep coaching?
10. Doesn't really matter now does it?
11.
My source today pretty much feels that LU will not be in the WAC in 2012.  Pretty good source also!!! ;) ;) ;)
I thought you said they were going to be in the WAC in the first thread about this....
12.
I don't blame Huck for wanting to leave. It is a no win situation at Orangefield. Hard working kids no doubt and if the kids had a say so I bet they would want Huck to stay. If Huck leaves it will be a step backward for Orangefield. Why can't parents mind their own business. If I was a coach Orangefield would not be on my list as far as places I would want to coach. Not because of the kids, they are great. To much drama and complaining. Orangefield looked like a JV team compared to most of their opponets and they went 7-3. First winning season in a long time and they want to run this guy off. Go figure!!!!!!
Agreed.
13. I heard about this website a few years ago from a college coach that was scouting from Kountze when Orangefield was playing them at the Livingston tournament, I just wanted to share it with anyone whose daughter wants to or can play at the next level.  It's free, I put an Orangefield player on there at the end of her senior year, and she received calls and emails from a few juco schools, I'd say they earlier the better.  You need their stats from their highschool or select team coaches.  Gook luck!! 14. :D Touche, but you know what I really meant?  I'm thinking 22pts a game would be good for someone 6'7!
15.
6'7" wow. Bring it on Brittany Griner....
I wonder how someone that tall can only avg 10pts a game.
16. Congrats Bradley and good luck!!! Bradley in all of his matches from district and regional tourny has only lost 4 games!!!! That's awesome.
17. Is he the same coach who wore sunglasses on his head while coaching?  Was the head coach for the girls in 09?
