1. I heard about this website a few years ago from a college coach that was scouting from Kountze when Orangefield was playing them at the Livingston tournament, I just wanted to share it with anyone whose daughter wants to or can play at the next level.  It's free, I put an Orangefield player on there at the end of her senior year, and she received calls and emails from a few juco schools, I'd say they earlier the better.  You need their stats from their highschool or select team coaches.  Gook luck!! 2. :D Touche, but you know what I really meant?  I'm thinking 22pts a game would be good for someone 6'7!
 3.
6'7" wow. Bring it on Brittany Griner....
I wonder how someone that tall can only avg 10pts a game.
 4. Congrats Bradley and good luck!!! Bradley in all of his matches from district and regional tourny has only lost 4 games!!!! That's awesome.
 5. Is he the same coach who wore sunglasses on his head while coaching?  Was the head coach for the girls in 09?
 6. A special congrats to Marissa Wyatt of Orangefield, I am very proud of you! Congrats to all the ladies.
 7.
Hopefully he will do well.  However, someone over there has to understand that when that attempted layup clanks off the rim and bounces out to the free throw line, it implies that the player may have too much strength and not enough skill.
:D :D
Doubt it.
Not to make a stupid comment, but how would he be involved?
That's what I was wondering too.

 10.
Here is my argument, If a kid is good in volleyball they are pretty much good in everything. A athlete is an athlete. At a 3A school you need your best athletes to be involved in every sport possible in order to compete or reach that goal of a state championship and that is the ultimate goal.  To me that is not the ultimate goal of the parents, some parents not all.
AMEN!!!!!!
 11. Someone made a Facebook page about wanting him as a head coach. [Hidden Content]
 12. Same place it was already going....no where.  ;D
 13. Not sure what football, powerlifting, or crime rate has to do with Silsbee winning state in basketball.  ::) Locked up.
 14. Why are you trying to convince me they should be ranked, I've already said (three times now) that I thought they should, I was just giving a reason on why that might not have been. Look at 1A Evadale, lost in the semis of the state tourny, yet in the final polls they are #2. What about the team that actually made it to the finals?  They got beat pretty bad, so because Evadale played the champs pretty dang close, I'd GUESS that's why they are ranked over the team that actually made it to the finals of state.  I could be wrong, but ---- NEDERLAND SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE TOP 25!!!
 15.

I'm surprised about Nederland, but they did lose pretty bad in regionals, but I thought they'd make the Top 25.  I figured Silsbee wouldn't stay Top 25, I doubt there are any teams that lose in the 2nd round to make the final ranking list.
Keep in mind that they lost to the (apparent) 3rd ranked team in the state. Does point differential really matter? Again, read my post above, allow it to sink in, and tell me how it's possible that anyone could come to that conclusion?
I don't know if you finished reading what I said, but let me repeat myself so maybe it can "sink in", that I thought they would made top 25, but getting beat pretty bad in the first round of regionals might have had something to do with it.
Who did those teams lose to and by how much?
