  1. Just the way the "BIG NASTEEZ" like it...physical...it will be a battle...who ever thinks it will be a blowout by Nederland is...well...uh... ??? ;D
  2. And you don't think we could have done the same thing! LCM means nothing...No offense Bear Fans...Both teams will bring it, I still say Central wins! ;D
  3. Plays to Central's advantage b/c they run it all day! Ned offense will be limited relying on the Big Boy for everything...now he is a load...it'll be a good, muddy, messy game! ;D
  4. I don't think it'll be an issue of whether the D can stop the O...I think it'll be can our Offense show up and score...not just move the ball...we gotta punch it in...expect a new wrinkle in the Offense...more power...more speed!
  5. Dang Son...that's a bold one there! I do remember Georgia catching that beatdown...but I think the Jags are still steaming from last weeks issue (I won't call it a game) and they step up and bring the PAIN! :-[
  6. THE REAL BLACK IS BACK!!!!!!! :o ;D
  7. You're right on...He's gotta be a possesion WR at the next level or get bulked up to be a TE! He's no barn burner!
  8. I think Central's Sterling Cantue is the best Center in the area! He has 25 pancakes for the year...He leads the team with the most helmet stickers!
  9. Jags pull it out this week...1st game at Babe, Homecoming, The Black Uniforms...alot going on this week...but the Jags are ready! 8)
  10. I'ma letcha know...Jags suprise everyone and RUN THE BALL! Jags finish game with 45 rushing attempts and 10 passing attempts and continue to avg 4.5 per carry for the team! We will win with determination and desire...I think some of you have forgot what it means to be a JAG! Jags win and get back on track 28-21...Nederland back is better than Mosely in losing effort!
  11. You're right. And what's sad is that this kid wasn't even projected to play offense this year. He is supposed to be on defense. I guess when things get a little sour, we will try to pull out the stops. BTW, we have other athletes on defense they we may need to consider being on offense. Namely at the receiver position... I hope you're calm now Soulja and a bit more rationale! I didn't look at this thread over the weekend while at work and was distracted by the other thread yesterday...but man that hurts! As I'm sure you and every other Jag fan was ticked off...but Lumberton played a good game! Our game plan is RUN! I'll say it one more time for the "slow people" ....RUN! When all else fails, you RUN! Now, I'm no coach but I think we should be able to throw when they are backed off us, but with all that speed in the backfield we have, sometimes it feels good to RUN! Our WR's will get their chance and when they do...they gotta take advantage! As far as next week...I don't think we'll get crushed! But it will be a "Dawg Fight" and they better be ready! If people don't like the product...don't show up! DON'T COME TO THE GAME AT ALL! :-[ :'( This is what we got...WE ARE NOT A 1-9 TEAM like in 04...I think Coach J got a raw deal, but Stowers has done it right since he's been here...we are either gonna support him or not! If you quit coming now....DON'T TRY TO COME BACK WHEN WE ARE ROLLING ALONG! : As I always say....we'll be fine. Relax...Take a chill pill, as my Aunt always says. I know Soulja, you'll be there... Now, if we play them again...I think it'll be a different story! We moved the ball on them but didn't exucute! It sucks when 10 people do their job right and 1 screws it up! When they hit Charlie in the endzone there was a blocking bust! The DT came in the backfield untouched! So in that crucial situation a mistake like that is very costly! It would have been nice to see em give it to the FB or even QB sneek...but I can live with it as long as we don't do it again...if we learn from this game...we'll be good! 8)
  12. This is GT's 1st season running this style offense, when Chan Gailey was their w/ Johnson...yeah they were pass happy...(wouldn't you be with that dude!) And as far as you watching your kin folk...you good! But those schools do run, run, run...but they also excute...we had around 11 passing attempts but only completed 4 balls...we gotta catch the short stuff so we're not forcing ourselves to hang our hat on the long ball! We're both saying the same thing...it's about exucution...and I think we'll use this game to get better...however...I do think we can win out!
  13. I don't know about you...but I'm having fun...We'll be fine! I love talking noise, but every now and again you gotta set em str8! You're right...being a Lumberton fan I sure hasn't easy, but you've held on b/c of your love for football and "GOOD CLEAN FUN!" I'll be one of the 1st ones to talk noise about another team and if you beat us...you get your props!
  14. I know you stay Soulja and I won't question your fanhood anymore as I did when I first began posting...I was just sharing my side of it! When it was tough against Vidor I remembered people leaving...and while their people were screaming and yelling and stomping and doing whatever they could to let their team know we got your back...all I could hear was us screaming "WHAT ARE YOU DOING...YOU COACHES SUCK...THROW THE BALL!" If this is the atmosphere we have for HS games....Lamar might not have a sellout anytime soon!
  15. Now it's my turn...when I originally began posting, I did it to challenge ever "SO Called" Central Fan. I love football as I know a lot of you do! What I saw was an opportunity missed...Lumberton was good and yes they loaded the box on us...but that is the nature of this offense! They will run and run and RUN! You could load 10 in the box and Central would continue to Run the ball....you may not like it but that's why we sit in the stands instead of coaching on the sideline. When I heard Central was running this offense...I started looking at Navy/Georgia Tech to get an idea of what to expect! Obvisously those are college teams with talented kids on another level. The Jags do have to be able to take advantage of the short passing game but even more so...they have to be able to exucute! On the 4th and 1 call the Jags should have punted right away, they were too close to their own endzone to go for it! When I asked what the deal was, my brother said the coaches were trying to get a measurement from the sideline official and while they were making their case the clock started rolling! Instead of wasting another timeout they took the 5 yarder and punted! When I found out they were showing the game on TV I set my TIVO and watched it when I got home! Lumberton had 4 or 5 big plays...a screen, two big Hannah runs, and the big stop on the play in our endzone when they got the TD...on that play I bet there was a blocking error...It looked like they left the DT unblocked! The play they called I think was the same one Charlie had been getting his yards on! Sure...it would have been nice to see a QB Sneak or FB play to get some push! As I said in an earlier post I would not be surprised if Lumberton came away with the win...I think Central just wants to get the ball rolling...and get the offense going in the right direction! Central moved the ball...but they gotta eliminated the mistakes that kept em out the endzone! In this district you gotta get what we can get...so back to the drawing board...I still like what we got! I really just wish our fans weren't so wishy washy! We show up late and leave early...that sucked as a player to look in the stands and not see anyone there or see people leaving early...People thought the game was over against Lumberton and as soon as we were down by 2 TDs people were rolling out only to came back once we scored! Lumberton's fans are up cheering regardless of what goes on...us, we're too busy trying to be the OC and complaining about our program! I still Love y'all...just saying my peace!
  16. Central is still a work in progress....sure you want to go undefeated but, I can tell you this...the Jags want to be rolling by the time playoffs start! If the offense continues to progress then things will be fine...if not expect close Defensive games against quality teams! Again, I STRESS....the Jags will overlook NO ONE...but they do have goals in mind! 8)
  17. That #49 the MLB is a monster for Lumberton and they never back down! This will be a great contest and we are all excited to see 20-4A rolling again!
  18. Since we're throwing stuff out there, I might as well chime in! Once our Jags get by Lumberton (not looking ahead, just claiming the victory now) and if Nederland wins against whoever they play...I'm susprised that the Nederland vs Central game would not be a GOTW...since the winner of that game will be the favorite to win 20-4A
  19. GO Jags! Gotta do it tonight also! ;D
  20. What up my PEEPS!....It's me it's me,....Lil C
  21. These stats need to be updated...JT has 3 picks...and Keith O'neal has 1 TD off a 66 yd scamper...plus Deajon Mitchell has two TDs....disservice to the district! ???
  22. Gonna be a tough game...hope to see everyone there! I hope Lumberton is at full strength so there can be NO excuses when they lose! Either way, my brother said they are working hard and they want to redeem themselves after last season's big break down! I think the Jags have gotten used to playing on the road and are playing like some real "Road Warriors" 8)
  23. They came back on the air this morning at 5AM I listened to Smack Talk on 97.5 last night!
