He was a first year coach and teacher at Deweyville who was Rif'ed because of the budget cutbacks. Believe me, he did not want to go.

Maeghan Scott, junior guard at Sam Rayburn HS in Pasadena, scored her 1000th point as a varsity player last night in Sam Rayburn's victory over Pasadena. I know I am biased, but she is a good student, a great kid, and truly a role model for kids who believe they can be a great athlete AND good person. Congratulations, Maeghan!
