I have been reading this thread without butting in for a while now, and I cant keep quiet anymore.  Couple of facts that seem to be missing from a lot of these posts. A. Neither this site or the other site are channel stations.  They are two seperate entities.  There may be some support given by one or the other, which is most likely on a personal basis (friends).  So in the end, it doesnt matter what a TV station is reporting versus what is being talked about and written about on a fan based website.  Some people are talking like they are one in the same. B. I am a member of Orangebloods and Aggieyell, and should I see something interesting from another site that the "fans" may want to read, I post it, without reprecussions.  As do many other people out there.  These are two of the biggest fan/blog sites out there, and a model that everyone else has followed.  So, what site is it that would take action against you if you posted a link to a competitor? C. From what I read on the other site, I also saw the ? after the "End of an Era".  In the sports world, that is what you call a "hot rumor" based on some evidence.  In the end, aside from talking smack, the reason I join these type of sites is to get inside information that I can not get on the news.  Make no mistake about it, you are not the news.....You are a blog site, and this is what this is all about. When Aggieyell gets some kind of inside info, they share it, we talk about it, and in the end, the news may not come true.........but, it was fun to talk about it.   ESPN, all sportstalk radio, and most other media outlets, upon hearing a "hot rumor", will discuss it without regard as to who might read it or hear it.  Not quite sure why you guys think that you are somehow affilliated with coaches and must report only what they tell you.  If I want a fact based record report, I will read the PA News or Beaumont Enterprise.

From what I have heard, Faircloth elected to play at Stallworth again....Brenham's coach picked a stadium that held 5000 to counter it.  So, if Faircloth would have flipped and lost we would have ended up in a much smaller stadium.  Therefore, he had to give in to Aldine to avoid a loss on the coin toss. My point is, that there are four teams going to the playoffs now....why?  Not because they believe all four teams deserve to go to the playoffs.  It is to generate revenue.  What is the point of four teams going when you are limiting seats to the premiere playoff team in the state.  Doesnt make sense, and I wish the UIL would step in with a ruling in the future that can accommodate a fan base. With that said, feel free to email Brenhams coach.

Dont know if any of you listen to the Duke on ESPN radio.  If you do, then you will know what I am talking about.  I want to throw the Brenham coach under the bus for wanting to play at Aldine.  Unreal....how scared of a crowd can you be.  They put four teams outta of the districts in the playoffs....why????  to make money, and this scared man doesnt want the districts to make money.  All respect for this coach is LOST.  I know the full story behind all this, and yes, he is very scared of the sea of purple.

While Barbers Hill played a great game and kept it close for most of the game, I think the Indians pretty much controlled the game.  I know of at least 2 times they drove the field and did not get points.  Credit to BH for the redzone defense.  PNG had problems with redzone offense against Central also.  Just making mistakes with penalties or turnovers in the redzone.......have to tighten up on that to make a good run in the playoffs.  Does anybody have the stats from this game?

From an Indian fan, I have to say that WB would probably win this one.  But, as far as ranking, why dont you complain about Silsbee and Jasper in the top 5????  You think they could beat Vidor, Memorial, etc....I dont...but, its rankings according to how you have performed with your competition I believe.  By the way, WB wouldnt handle PNG either.....maybe a 27-17 game or so.  And, if for some reason you lost the turnover battle, PNG just might squeek it out.

These Vidor fans really crack me up.  I stated before the first game of the season that the Dave Campbell pick was a joke.....that Vidor would do what Vidor always does.....CHOKE.  They kept bragging about last year, when they had everyone returning from a team that did not make the playoffs, when the district takes 4 teams to the playoffs.  Well congratulations....if you win this week, you make the playoffs.  Far below what was predicted for you....just like I thought.  Congratulations.....you moved up one spot from 5th the 4th.  Give me a break.  I hope you guys lose Friday, so all of your 4th place dreams melt right in front of you.  Good luck to your kids and may none of them get hurt.....Bad luck to some of you fans who are over zealous and complete retards.

I'll tell you what is wrong with it from the outside looking in. You appear to be a bit obsessed with hating PNG for some reason.  Probably because they are well represented on here, and the FANS (<---------- notice the FANS), who are usually over confident, are not shy about it.  If my favorite band in the history of music was New Kids on the Block, and came to a music forum to talk about music, more than likely, I am going to talk about the New Kids on the Block and how great they are.  People that can't stand the New Kids on the Block are going to make fun of me and will question why they think that their albums are so good.  However, in the end, no matter what the naysayers tell me (the FAN), it is not going to change my opinion of the New Kids on the Block.  My perception is that they are the best band on the earth, and nothing anyone says will change that. Apparantly you have realized this about PNG FANS, so instead of arguing about it (which you got tired of), you are agreeing with them in a very sarcastic way since you were unable to convince them of any other way.  You are what a lot of people deem as a button pusher.  You want PNG FANS to get mad at your ridiculously sarcastic prediction and then argue with you, just so you can say, "I know, thats what I'm saying, PNG is awesome".  It is a different route than the one that wasnt working for you.   Hope you kind of understand how I see it.  But, just remember, I am on the outside of you looking in, so it may be a little hard to understand. If Central pulls it off....which I doubt ;), 9-1 and a share of the district title will not put us into hiding.

Thus far, we have seen PNG's domination until the 4th quarter.  Faircloth and co's. refusal to run a score up on anyone, shows a lot of class.  However, things could have gotten bad for the last four teams that the Indians have faced.  IMO of the Ozen game last night, PNG was up 35-0 with around 3 minutes to play in the 3rd quarter.  Ozen could not stop anything that the Indians were doing on offense at that point, nor could they move the ball against the Indians D.   My point is, that could have very easily been a 56-0 or 63-0 game.  Central will have their hands, arms, and legs full next week.
