You could deffinitely tell the difference in HJ having Trey back. The Hawks played sloppy the first half but looked more like themselves the second half. They still have room for improvement but they looked better tonight. Jarvis looked real good and the rest of the guys are getting it back together at the right time. Silsbee fought hard and stayed in the game till the first part of the third quarter then HJ took over. Silsbee has some great athletes and they should go far in the playoffs. Congrats HJ and don't take any prisoners the rest of the way. Good Luck to both teams.

Believe me, if the hecklers weren't good at what they do they wouldn't get the air time they get on here. It's all in fun and team spirit. We love watching them. Anytime you can get grown men who consider themselves rational adults on here crying about them on a regular basis you have got to be good at what your doing. And some of these men get so mad they tell the hecklers they don't like them, that they aren't going to pull for our team, that they are going to take their ball and go home, and other mean stuff like that!! Glad the hecklers are on our side!!!!!!!! OH, Hi Oldtimer

It was great seeing the Hecklers at the girls game in Barbers Hill Tuesday nite. Ya'll even had the refs laughing!! Great show guys!!!!!

I think all 3 girls have had great games against the other two girls teams. That being said, if anyone of them could have been stopped by the others, why didn't they do it. All three are offensive minded and can score, but not all are equal on defense, passing and leadership etc. There is more to it than a one on one competition to determine what the value a player was to their team. I see three great athletes that just happen to play in the same district and it's making it difficult to choose one over the other.

I just think the Hawks know how to win the tough games; especially on a neutral court!! Trey was gone and some games got close, but now he's back. I'm sure HJ feels they are a dominate team again. Emotions can do wonders for high school athletes. Two great teams on Friday nite--gotta love it- Would pick Silsbee against anybody else but I gotta go with my Hawks--HJ by 10.

Maybe they learned you will never win if you don't shoot. I'm glad they are letting the boys play the game tonight!!

HJ and Silsbee are 2 of the upper tier teams in the state. They will need to play the other playoff teams with the same intensity that they play each other with. If they do there will be another 3A state champion from this area!! I believe the rest of the district played out according to the talent they had. Some teams may have hoped for more but you could tell rather quickly who was going to contend. Good Job by all!!!

I don't believe the issue here is really the hecklers. It has more to do with the outcome of the game. If HJ had lost to BC none of this would be a topic. BC would have talked about how good their boys played, how they rained three's from the moon, etc. But that didn't happen. BC players would not shoot. Period. I don't know why, does anyone? So you got beat and the team that beat you had a large supporting cast from their student body that supports their team unconditionally. The hecklers came to your house and did what they do best. Got in the your teams head and obviously your fans heads. So now you are frustrated. You don't want to talk about the game. You want to talk about the student body that supports the team. I just wish my old highschool had a group like the hecklers and I'm not too sure BC isn't showing a little jealousy because they don't have a group like the hecklers. (Although BC did try to immulate the hecklers it was rather weak: but it was an attempt!!!) You need to get over it because the hecklers are coming back again next year! And BC, in next years game-- SHOOT!!!!!

I usually don't get involved in the student (heckler) comments but I will this time. I was there at the game until half time. I saw the BC student body standing during the whole first half (who else does this?) When Jarvis missed his first shot in the !st Quarter (that miss came after he had already scored 2 three's) BC's student section targeted him for 5 minutes. BC was doing nothing different than the hecklers. In fact you could tell they were trying to be just like them. They looked across the floor at the hecklers like star struck wanna be"s. Where was the BC admin or the BC parents?? I bet they were too worried about why their team wouldn't shoot!!!!

It looked like BC was not that interested in winning--just trying to keep HJ from getting the ball and scoring. Good game plan until your down by 20 and it still looks like you are trying to stall. They had numerous open shots but chose to pass the ball another minute or 2 just to make the game clock run down to keep HJ's point total down. Whatever the reasoning was it got me out of there at half time!!

Ain't it fun????
