1.
I agree with what all of you have said.  I have found myself not paying attention much to the Astros this season.  I was checking scores the first few games.  Then they went on the West Coast road trip and started finishing games at 12:30-1 o'clock in the morning.  Even if they did have the games on TV, I don't know how many fans are going to stay up that late for AL West road games.  At least Crane got $50 mil for moving the team West.  Also I don't hate the A's, Mariners, and Angels yet so maybe that has something to do with it.  I still hope the Cards, Cubs, and Reds lose every game though.
After I made the original post, I found myself watching things other than baseball. I will catch a college game from time to time, but the weather has been so nice, I've been out and about.
 2. I seriously thought I would miss the Astros on TV, but we have the Rangers, and so much other baseball on TV, I don't miss the 'Stros....do you think them not being on TV will eventually hurt their regional fan base?
 3. I am just not excited about the Astros, now or in the future. If and it is a big if, the prospects turn out to be good players, will we become the next Kansas City? Never quite in the running....
 4.
you want em to close down the program again? get out and support the team..you can boo rayray from your seat
Well, if they are just going to run around and be 3-9, 4-8, and that is okay with the community, it starts to make you wonder if mediocrity is okay?
 5.

I am shocked at Coach not blaming the fans for his team not winning last night ???....Seriously, is there any hope for next year? Or should I just not even waste my time? Will we be 4-8 or 5-7 next year with wins over 3 Division III schools and the 4th over a NAIA school?  :(
i would still support the program by going to the games...i support lamar cause they are my alma mater...so for me, supporting them is never a waste of time...but with that being said just because i go to all the games doesnt mean im happy with what i see on the field...rayray should be on the hotseat every week next year.
WOS95, for the last 10 years I taught school, we were told that schools need to run more like a business. Part of Lamar' "business" is the football program and it is not at this time a product that deserves support. I too am a Lamar grad, and I was glade to see football return, but at some people you have to ask, " are we going to get any better?"

 7. Who from Buna signed with Lamar? ( That's the rumor.)
 8. Why should I spend my money to see Lamar beat on teams like Langston or McMurray? Calling out fans to see an inferior product is not a good move Coach. In the business world, if your product stinks and people stop visiting your store, you go out of business. Three years is enough time to see some improvement Coach, and I see none.
 9. The station just came back on...they were in a weather delay...
 10.
Oh so Its a political thing! ::) Always.
You've never worked in a school district have you?  :o
 11. So....do they hope he kills the program again????
