Well, first of all, Lumberton is cheap across the board. We don't pay well, not sure why but it is what it is. Secondly we LOST, got our butts handed to us, I would like to think that wasn't on purpose. If it was, I know there are teams who make certain plays to gain advantage even if it appears they've set themselves back and it wouldn't surprise me if a team strategizes to find a better route through playoffs. The game is played in more areas than just on the field, it starts the minute the last game ends.

Man, I don't know about you guy but to me this looked like the worst game the Raiders played all year. LCM just owned us.

Last year the Enterprise reported Babins salary at $79000 that came in at 24 of 34 area coaches at all levels. Several 3A and 4A coaches making more money. Not sure what it is this year.

Be careful now. You shouldn't attack a single person. Now attacking a whole team or city is okay but not a single person. That's what got me a demerit. Since everyone likes to bring up the past to make there point here and there. While my hope is that the next realignment numbers will keep us at this level for another couple of years, with exceptions of Crosby, there is not one single team in that 5a district that we haven't beaten at least once in the past including PNG. It's a hell of a lot harder for a school our size but it has happened. Babin is very good at getting the kids motivated. Now if we can just keep whiny parents out of the equation so that the school board doesn't run off another perfectly good coach like they've done in the past.

I expect L-Town to be the #1 seed first of all. The LCM game will be good but Lumberton will take that one. One game at a time, beat Splendora first.

Actually, if you take a closer look at the Lumberton Band uniforms they are actually Royal Blue with a part of them being Columbian Blue and rather than quote two different people, Lumnbertons' school colors are Red, White, Columbian Blue and Silver, we have four colors. I graduated from there also in 1977 and the decision way back in 1967 was that the colors would be those four. Now that being said there was a time period when the school seemed to be lost as far as the colors went and people were trying to change the colors. Mostly they were wanting to change Columbian blue to the Royal blue but they finally got their head together and went back to what it's supposed to be.
