If it weren't for Lumbertons' secondary Huffman would have put the game away. The interceptions our guys made coupled with the pass into double coverage that somehow ended up in our receivers hands were what gave us the win.

Raiders need to take it one game at a time.

One more win will for sure put us in the playoffs. I'm thinking a win here and against Splendora will give us at least a share of the DC and of course win out and we take District.

I'm thinking big Ned but you can never count out the Pirates on this game. They always seem to take Nederland to the wire. 3 point or less win.

The game was alright , but the after game was something special. I've been watching Lumberton since the school started and for the first time that I know of instead of the band just playing for the Raiderettes, the Raiderettes actually performed with the band in their contest routine and it was fantastic. I was wondering what the Raider band was going to do to top last year............man oh man. I see another trip to state coming your way.

Most likely unless we keep growing, the next realignment bottom numbers will increase and we may stay where we're at.

Possibility of making again this year since we dropped.

I'm certainly not opposed to it. Also, if someone knows they are going to try and put one together, even if you know it's going to be late, just announce that it's coming.

Totally disappointed that I missed the pick 'ems this week. I've been doing good so far and now this week is going to skew my numbers.

Raiders just need to keep in mind, the last time we were expecting to beat Livingston we went to their house and lost. Just don't look past these boys because by now they are desperate for a win. Play the game the way we know how.

I'm guessing you don't know any teachers or have them in your family. Those folks bring work home with them, checking and grading papers until late at night. Coming up with their lesson plans. Buying supplies for your kids that either the school or you don't provide. During the summer a lot of times they are taking more classes to keep up with the changes in education and technology. A teachers job is never ending, the only job that is more demanding is being a mother. My guess is you expect your wife to cook and clean the house as well as work at her job to help make ends meet.

JV Quarterback has been moved up since the Silsbee game from what I understand.

If Silsbee starts like they finished with Lumberton they should pull this out. If they start like they did with Lumberton then it'll be a long hard night and WOS will probably win. Silsbee is going to have to play the whole game hard.
