2. Man I wish I was there  or at the girls game...........go Lumberton
 3. wish whoever is at the Lumberton would twitter the score.

Who won the play in, LCM or Nederland?
Neither, they play tonight.
Yeah, I'm a day ahead of myself.........duuuuuh

 6. Actually, last years QB just wasn't as strong in passing as the previous year. My hope is that this years QB will have a good arm and a good head on his shoulders. Hopefully will have some good hands at receiver too, that way a more balanced game can be played. A coach has to use what his teams strengths are, it's that simple.

While Silsbee seems to be a no show so far, Lumberton remains the strongest team in district 37-4A. Now before you compare which district is tougher, just remember, L-Town always seems to mess up someones dreams of grandeur in district 38-4A and that goes for both the boys and girls teams. This will be settled as usual in the playoffs...........

Maybe they should move the train into 38-4A?
LOL.......probably shoulda looked at the scrimmage scores before I said anything. Looks like PNG boys put a hurtin' on L-Town..........the girls took care of business though.

 10. As usual, Lumberton will be scraping the bottom............................of their shoes with what's left of their opponents...LOL
 11. L. Haynes has had some interest from schools in the Fort Worth area, K. Haynes is applying for a few positions closer to this area.
 12. I'm curious, I wonder if when the Titans beat Cibolo does anyone think they'll actually make it on the top 50 in the national polls, replacing maybe Katy who lost? Could they even possible take Cibolo's place at number 18?
 13.
I didn't read the entire board, so someone may have said something like this already. Does anyone remember PNG-Central brawl? The year that happened, PNG had a ton of seniors and had a rough year... Would punishing PNG the next season be a righteous punishment? Not at all! Most of the fighters were seniors (general statement because the team was mostly seniors). They didn't care. My point is that you can't ruin the next season for the juniors, sophomores, and freshman who had absolutely no part in this fight. That's why the coaches are left with the punishment. If there is film on the fight, you can punish individual players, but you can't punish the entire program, a good chunk of both teams will be new next year.
Actually punishing the team the next year would be justifiable. It is ultimately the Coaches responsiblity to maintain order and discipline among the student athletes in his charge. If he fails at that job then his program should be punished as an example. If the school instead decides it would be better to replace the coach then and only then, the punishment should probably be rescinded for the next year.Aslo, any student athlete underclassman caught participating should be suspended.
 14.
We havent had this problem before. We will always get hatred from a lot    of people no matter what we do. So we'll just keep winning
My only experience with LaMarque before this incident occurring last saturday was when Lumberton played them a couple years back in the playoffs. Their team had a bad attitude back then as well although no fights started. Before the game, their players were acting arrogant and actually taunting the fans on our side. After the game and they lost, many of their players and several of their coaches (where the attitude really comes from) refused to shake hands with our players and coaches, opting instead to storm off the field into the field house. I've heard that this bad attitude is the norm and if this is the case, maybe the school district needs to try again in hiring a new head coach.
 15.
Okay......I was there in the middle of the action. LaMarque was COMPLETELY CLASSLESS the ENTIRE game starting with the pre game warmups. Too much talking. I do realize I am an Ozen supporter and may seem biased, but it is what it is. I was on the Ozen sideline (as I've been every game) watching this unfold the entire contest. TOO MUCH TALKING from LaMarque. Too much extra activity after the plays were over. LaMarque you have a talented team. Honestly from what I saw of yall today I was disappointed.....1st in our play because this was NOT our best game. We could say it was the weather, which I think had a lot to do with it, but it is what it is. We lost. 2nd....your team was VERY undisciplined and were'nt being corrected for it. I think your team would finish 5th or worse in our district. You were NOT the best team we've seen all year. Not even 3rd best. BUT.....you won today. Congrats to you but you have left a VERY poor image of your program and players and we look forward to seeing you again next season...........bank on that. ;)
Dude, I got news for you. LaMarque was EXACTLY the same way when Lumberton played them. I was kind of hoping with a new coach they would have changed their attitudes, apparently not. It sounds like they are still classless punks, it's ashamed Ozen didn't beat them so you could see their players throwing fits and refusing to shake hands after the game. Congratulations on your playoff run Ozen and take solace in knowing LaPuke will get b****slapped soon enough.
 16. This is gonna be a good game, too bad I have to work. If anyone needs new car to celebrate, come to Cowby Dodge and ask for the short bald guy.  ;)

We have some messed up priorities in this country, compared to a teacher salary that is way too much.
($6.00 a ticket x 5000 tickets) x 10 games + ($5000 concessions x 10 games) $300,000 + $50,000 = $350,000 per regular season How much again did your history teacher make for the school?
Funny!!!!!! :)
Technically, by teaching that STUDENT athlete well enough to pass his courses, that teacher made the same amount fo rthe school. Remember, no pass no play.
 18. How about Coming Up Short-Cake.
 19. Haynes would be more likely to retire and work for a private school. There probably would be interest from his son though who is possibly looking to get a shot at his first HC job.
 20. Man, I love reading your predictions, so far though you're off by one. I was surprised by the Vidor winning prediction, but you were spot on there, of course OUT goes Crosby, GCM, and the Thriller on the Hiller, buh bye Barbers Hill. Keep up the great and entertaining posts, everyone on here knows you are a fan of all the kids, not just one team.
