I think it has to do with expectation. Although it's only been a short while that our team has become a force to be reckoned with, this season has become a disappointment for those who expect us to win at least a couple of games. I have to admit that I did leave one game early because we were being beaten soundly, but it was also partly because my feet were killing me and at home games, I refuse to sit in my reserved seat, the fence is my vantage point. But for the most part, I hang in until the end or at least the last two minutes. That being said, although last Friday, we were having trouble generating any offense, I consider a 28 point loss against a team doing as well as Nederland as being a good thing, It could have easily been a 42-0 shut out like their Central game. Now this Friday, no disrespect to the Jags, but this is our best chance to take one and I hope our guys play their hearts out. We definitely need more than two or three to step up and play like they are capable of. Go Raiders!!!!!

Just an fyi for ya Mack, this annoying announcer is a new one. Now who'd a thought Lumberton would be holding Nederland to 14 points in the first half.

This will be another game won by 7 points are less. I know PNG fans like to continue to think they are the greatest team since sliced bread but let's face it, BOTH teams or O-2 in district. To say that PNG is going to beat L-Town by a big number is kind of ridiculous. Will Lumberton win, not sure, will PNG blow them out................nope. With Lumbertons' lack of size, both in numbers and physically I personally believe they are the best O-fer team in SETX, granted that doesn't change our record but so far no one has exactly owned L-town. Watch out, the boys in columbian blue are going to trip up and actually end up on the winning side before the end of this season. Raiders by 2.

MTC, I'm guessing you definitely don't want to come to the Lumberton LCM game next year since both of us sport big air horns. I guess them getting one is only fair since our previous announcer "borrowed" their "Another ***** FIRST DOWN!!!" talking about annoying. LOL

Okay, my turn to weigh in. This game will most probably be a one touchdown win for whoever comes out on top. Lumberton has a really good team, if we can get rid of a few mistakes, i.e. 2 five yard penalties starting inside the opponents 10 yard line. That or hit all of our PAT's, 2 missed lost by 2 hmmmmmm. Vidor is always tough against Lumberton and are very capable of pulling it out, it seems like those boys go in at half time and send a new team out in the second half sometimes. I have to go with my Raiders, but nothing will surprise me.......................THIS IS GONNA BE A GOODUN'!

Little heads up WTB, OC is new, hired from Kountze this year.

This was a great game by both teams. IMO the jury is still out on our new OC, I'm thinking Creduer may need to step in here pretty soon. They let Granato pass a bit more tonight and he did well except for two intercepts, one of them was a pure panic throw when he had LCM on his hind end. Hopefully he'll learn to put a little more juice on it if he's throwing it away. Other than that mistake, Granato was a monster workhorse tonight.

I heard their QB has a cannon for an arm. In fact, word has it that they've added an extra 100 yards to their field because he kept throwing the ball clean out of the end zone from the 1 yard line.
