Livingston came to Lumberton tonight and although they denied it 28 times, we insisted to them 30 times that the Hill IS for real, then of course we blew our horn. ;)
Toups Graphics prediction... Dayton 49 GC Memorial 0 Pretty dang close. Kudos to the Patriots for cashing in on a Bronco turnover. My bet is that the Patriots probably had about 140 yards of offense. Dayton's defesne is getting better and better every game. Now it's time to put another 50 point or greater explosion on North Forest. I really don't like that stadium. Come to think of it... This will be the first time the Broncos have played on natural turf all season.
Wow P great call on the Dayton score even if it wasn't a shut out, of course you missed it on the Train........we were on the tracks tonight, great game.

The other day I had to make a stop at the gas station at 146 and IH-10. The clerk in there was very well endowed, obviously a boob job. I looked her in the eyes and pointed to the north and slightly east and I told her "Woman that hill over there, now THAT Hill is Real"! :D

The one of only two teams in the state we have a winning record against, the other being La Marque at 1-0 ;). It's homecoming for Lumberton, win by one touchdown. -

Oh well the crowd will drown it out ! If I hadn't looked at who wrote the article (Sam Kahn, Jr. ::)), I would have asked when did KFDMCoop start writing for the Chronicle. ;) I believe North Shore, Sam and all of Houston believe the conditions lost that game for the Mustangs and not that PAM won the game. ::) Something about Mustangs, hmmmmmmmmm........ ;) ;D
That's all they talk about. ::) Even if we win they still won't give us credit, and they'll still have an excuse.
Well of course that's what lost them the game, didn't anyone in the stands notice that NS were standing in a monsoon the entire game while PAM was experiencing tropical sunshine when they had the ball? -
It has been officially noted by the Texas Senate that the only two things in Mont Belvieu that are REAL are milk and the HILL.

Personally in todays economy, if your playing in the Golden Triangle are and you opt to get refs from another chapter, then on a fiscal basis, you're an idiot. Refs do get travel pay so the farther they travel, the better their check is. Now I don't purport to know one single ref in this chapter now, but the ones that were there when my dad was alive and still refereeing were the best. Not only do they spend a lot of their time learning the rules that seem to change almost yearly, but they do it for the love of the game, as no one makes a living off the high school or for that matter the college level. Frankly, I'm not sure what chapter Coach Creduer is using for home games (which of course the other team has to agree too also), but I've not seen a huge amount of mistakes by these guys. Granted, none of them are perfect in their calls but they try. Now with the UIL taking over, I've heard that a lot of the refs are gonna drop out. What that tells me is that eventually, you'll be seeing baseball umpires or basketball refs out there trying to learn the game and making a whole lot more mistakes than the current guys. I'm just glad my brother officiates in the SWAC now instead of high school, although he does occasionally call local high school games or scrimmages when the chapter needs him, they are few and far between. He's happy with what he does, and does a pretty good job too, I'd hate to see him insulted they way a lot of you insult these guys that are out there currently. Funny thing is, the most vocal of the people griping about these refs would not even consider joining the local chapter or the UIL and become refs yourselves.

Rusted, we rolled out to pass several times. The times we did the qb went the right way then there was no blocking or the blocking was there and the qb rolled out the wrong way. The only way I know that is because I am a 3 yr letterman of those play and know the blocking scheme/backfield motion scheme. Like I said though, the team that comes ready to play would take home the W. Not to say Vidor is a bad team by any means but we did not show up to play and looked like we at a funeral on the sidelines. It was completely dead. For all the Pirate players that read this you need to take something from it, you can't play good without enthusiasm. The only game I seen any enthusiasm at was the Nederland game and looked what happened. The rest of the games yall have completely silent on the sidelines, don't be afraid to make some noise.
Good post and in his favor didn't Vidor start out with a pass play to begin the game. I can see how coach matthews is trying to get some passing into the Vidor offense but we just need to work on Dozier. He is a great kid and dang good ball player but he's just not used to passing a lot. You gotta think he has run that same offense for about three years. Anyways good game lumberton yall found our weakness and pretty much rubbed our faces in it. Yall played the better game Vidor, idk what happened friday. I hope yall get your stuff together and get ready for friday. GO PIRATES!!!!!!!!
Before you guys go tooting Rusted horn you might want to go back and read some of his posts from last year. Especially the ones from the PNG game on.
Dang Rusted, looks like you left an impression on someone. ;)

PN-G vs. Lumberton Predictions?
raideroldtimer replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I think with all the injuries Lumberton has PNG will run away with it in the second half, Lumberton has no dept and alot of kids playing both ways.
Actually Lumberton has had several key players in the past few years who played both ways constantly. Although the guys who were injured were starters, the rest of the guys have picked up the pace nicely, plus not all the injuries are defensive personnel. This will be a tough game for Lumberton, no doubt about it, but if PNG hasn't run away with it to start with, don't expect them to run away with it in the second half, L-Town will be right there. One more thing, don't think a 7 or even 14 point lead will be enough to put the boys away, they have come from behind before.
