Ok people, between the people sending the dirty emails and the people now complaining on the week three thread Ive had enough.  Ive tried being nice about it. I am having internet problem ever since the storm and my internet is running about 10% of the speed it used too.  Time warner will be glad to come fix it maybe friday!!  It takes about six hours to add figure the scores and then a couple hours to plug it into the spreadsheet.  I know it has taken longer this week and no one feels worse about that than I do.  Between raising four kids 5 month old and a 5, 6, and 7 year old (karate, dance, football and newborn) I do the best I can.  If anyone (espcially the ones complaining) has a better solution for the site and want to do it then go ahead. Im Out!!
Hey Ryker when you gonna have those numbers ready for us!!!! J/K, I remember after Rita, I had my phone service with Time Warner. I got my power in less than a week from Entergy, I heard that Ma Bell customers had their phones within a week, two tops. Good ole Time Warner came through, yup I had my phone service back in under 2 months. Good luck on them getting you fixed up. I assume you already did the unplug your modem and router for at least 45 seconds thing, if not try it and maybe that'll reset you.

Are they young, or just playing good teams? Also Ball isnt that Bad, their predicted to make the playoffs in 24-4A this year so congrates on the win. Sometimes all teams need is that 1 win to get things going
Ball won't be anywhere near the playoffs!  You heard it here first.  :o
Watching them Saturday, they might have a hard time making 6-man playoffs even if they were still fielding 11.  :o But actually they are Superbowl contenders and rated Top Ten in the nation, so Central beating them was like huge. Can you tell I've actually gotten tired of people putting down mine and the other UNDEFEATED teams just to make themselves feel better about their 33% winning record? ::)
LOL we all hear that every year that no one will beat Lumberton and then the LCM folks get on here with their BOJO stuff and how they are gonna kill everyone. I bet that LCM and Lumberton would both be 1-2 or possibly 0-3 if either team had played a decent pre-season schedule. Starting this week all teams in District are 0-0 again. The real games start and these count now.
Again a fan of a 1-2 team is talking about how Lumberton and LCM should be 1-2 or even 0-3, dude we've heard for far many more years how PNG is going to win district/state/BCS Championship/Superbowl, you guys just can't stand to hear someone else toot their own horn because they are every bit as proud as their team as you are of yours.

It's situated at a higher elevation than Dayton which is where the saying came from "Poop slides down Hill"   :o Our sewage has to go some where it might as well stay in Dayton 8) [move][glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left] ;D BELIEVE  ;D[/shadow][/glow][/move]
Actually.... The elevation of Dayton is the highest between New Orleans and Houston. The drainage from Dayton goes downstream into Old River which goes right into your home town. Enjoy your victory over Nederland for 11 more days, then the thrill of your victory will be crushed by the agony of yet another defeat to the stampeding Broncos (a team which Barbers Hill still has yet to beat since going up to 4A). The clock is ticking to 7 PM September 24. Tick Tock Tick Tock
Actually Dayton drains two directions, West to the San Jacinto and East to the Trinity.  Both are what keep anyone from coming this way.  Just East of the San Jacinto River Bridge we divert traffic North to Highlands and South to Baytown.  Just East of the Trinity we divirt them North through Old River to Dayton and South through Cove to Baytown.  Either way we are protected on all sides.  I heard some of the Galveston folks were trying to get here, so several years back I dug Trinity Bay.  We did however leave 146 North open so we could evacuate from hurricanes, in exchange for Dayton folks to be able to find a good dentist, of course.   ;D
LOL, saw this and had to check it out. I thought you might be right there for a little bit until I hit on this, Dayton, Tx elevation is 73 feet, the winner is Moss Hill, Texas at 95 feet.
haha after you explain why Lumberton wont be in..... 1) PN-G needs no explanation, they have played closely, 2 teams better than most in 20-4a...they just have "it" they are the team everyone wants to beat, but few admit it 2) Lumberton can score all night long with the best of em, and defense is bending, but not breaking. Dont have to kill people, a W is a W. Once the injury Bug leaves town and Ltrain is full strength again, will be tough to beat. 3)LCM is scoring at will, D is suspect, but kind of irrelevant against the several inferior opponents in the district this year...(Ozen, Vidor, Central  ;) 4)Livingston or Ned, really dont know about either
LCM will not stop Ozen or Central! This district is wide open for the taking. Both Beaumont schools will be right in the thick of it. The only inferior thing is LCM's defense and Lumberton's their strength of schedule so far.
Hmm, Lumberton's strength of schedule huh. Let's see Jasper, I'll give you that one although historically they are slow out of the gate. Barbers Hill, didn't they spank Nederland last Friday? Oh, and before someone says we played them without some of their starters, that went both ways as we had a couple starters out and lost one during the game as well. Silsbee, picked to make the playoffs in their district, won district champ last year against the team that pounded Nederland the first week. Dude, nobody says that Ozen and Central didn't play two very tough games to start the season with, in fact Ozen is making people notice, but face it, Central got blown out of both of their games and Galveston couldn't hold on to a ball if you super glued it to them. Yeah this district is up for grabs, but it definitely isn't gonna be the same old status quo this year.
SPANKED ..... POUNDED ...... geeze, why so many references to NEDERLAND??????? ..... sounds to me someone is worried about what Nederland is gonna do this year for you to use us as a comparison so much.... imo. Oh btw, if you call losing by 7 points to BH a spanking, then it will be interesting to me to hear how future loses for the Raiders will be justified and defended. I bet spanked will be removed from the vocabulary choices won't it? I wish upon the Raiders a sucessful season, as I do for all the teams in our district.  I hope that our DOGS will be more sucessful!!!!
Dogs, the main point I was trying to make is that every time you turn around most people on here are constantly picking the teams who are currently 1-2 to take this district while implying that all 3 teams that are undefeated aren't very good, because of their defenses or their supposed strength of schedule, etc. The reason I pulled out the dogs is that WOS and Silsbee are in the same district and Silsbee actually won that district. It was only to make a point. People need to start realizing, that the traditional front runners aren't going to always take the playoff spots as this is probably one of the most evenly matched districts in the state if you ask me. I'll say it right now.............PNG might actually NOT make the playoffs, CENTRAL might actually NOT make the playoffs, oh Lord, someone dig a hole, cover me with honey and let the ants loose, I said it.  :o Here comes the fireworks.
 6.
Im just ready for all of it to unfold. Getting tired of people finding every way to discredit teams wins so far though, a W is a W right? you still have to show up, execute, and go get the win, so enough with the strength of schedule crap, its high school, teams are CONSTANTLY changing. U can scenario until you are blue in the face, oh they played them, but they played these guys uncles who beat up on these guys in laws, go home w that crap. The bias is completely apparent with very few exceptions. Stop acting like its embarassing or degrading to lose to certain teams, if a teeam played hard and beat you, give em credit, dont tell me about who was missing, or that they are a class under or above u, its stupid. And i have heard about all i can take of people bringing up losses from like 95-recent years, move on, take the letter jacket off and turn the page.
LOL, Bojangles, if I could even find my letter jacket, it wouldn't even come CLOSE to fitting this fat old body of mine.  :D :D :D

 9. You know, I was just looking at the district standing so far and a thought occurred to me. Just think how shocked we'd all be if all the sudden come district time Vidor jumped up and Butch slapped every one of our teams.   :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
 10.
PNG is the reining district champs and looks to be good enough so far to compete again for the district title. Do you agree?
I know I'm about to be crucified, BUT, the only game I've seen them in was the Gregory-Portland game. PNG came out of the gate swinging in that game and looked decent offensively, the problem was, the defense let GP back into that game, and yes I know GP is in the AP polls week in and week out. But what I saw defensively from PNG would get them in trouble with a lot of our district teams this year causing them to continuously play come from behind ball. I realize they, like everyone else, are getting better, but like I said before, although a lot of the posters have already seemingly crowned PNG district champs, I hope there are at least 7 other coaches in the area who haven't.

Why is that?
Simple. Livingston is so far removed and plays different pre-season opponents for the most part, so we don't know much about them until the 2nd or 3rd district game. Plus they don't have a history of being a really powerful team, just a good average team, that being said, they DO come out every time and surprise the heck out of one or two teams at least.

 20. I personally think both teams are going to light up the scoreboard, Lumberton's D features a pretty good secondary which will slow LCM a bit. Lumberton also has an excellent receiver corp, although they had an off night Friday compared to previous games, but you can't let LCMs' passing attack be suspect either. They are throwing the ball like crazy and catching it for big ones. This game may come down to last possession, I give Lumberton the advantage on ball control and the running game. The defenses ability to strip balls and recover fumbles should make the difference. I believe Lumberton will take this one but as I said, it could come down to the last possession. The score will probably be in the neighborhood of 56-49 whichever way it goes.
