1. Ltown up 10 to 7 @ 1:42 left in 2nd.
 2. Raider D is looking pretty tough. Doing a good job causing fumbles and jumping on them. LTown scored with 34 seconds left in 1st quarter. GCM returned the favor @ 10:32 in the 2nd quarter. Ltown currently driving still in 2nd.
 3.

I think Dayton is a big favorite going in. I think they have a really good team this season as they have in the last several years. Hopefully the Dogs can put forth a good showing. I was surprised how easily Dayton handled WO-S which kinda scares me for our chances tonight.
Don't know anything about Nederland what kind of offense do you run , do you like to run  mostly or do you pass from the spread ? I wouldn't say we handled WOS easily ,but our run defense is very good already ,you might want to throw some deep passes thats where we need the work at. Our offense is loaded so tell your team to bring their track shoes.
Man Jayhawk you don't know Nederland well do you? The 'dawgs are a spread offense that loves to throw the ball often. They usually do find a good back or two in their ranks too so depending 100% on the pass is the wrong thing to do as they will drop their shoulder and run. The biggest question for BigNed over the past several years has been on the other side of the ball, will their defense show up or not?
 4. Based on what I saw last week, Lumberton's D even without The Beast is even more stingy this year than last, the secondary could play in a little closer but I realize they are trying to offset speed differences some times. The O can move the ball although the question is if they can successfully move it in the redzone, not sure they were really trying to get across the goal line last week more than they were just trying to make sure they have their routes and plays down good. Wasn't GCM the 4th place team last year in their district, to me 3rd and 4th place are average at best and can be taken down fairly easily and yes I realize our last trip to the post season was as the 3rd place finisher, we went out the first round too.
 5. If they claim to be from District 20-4a then I want Lumberton to beat them, no discrimination, just annihilation.  :o ;D ;)

 8.
The total number of posts by the fans calling Soulja a jerk or hater is a good indicator to how well they know him as a poster... which apparently is not very well. Keep on keepin' on Soulja. :) To those two knuckleheads.... more reading and less posting if you can't spot some friendly smack better than that. ;) ;)
Amen to that. You're a good fella Soulja, even when we do pick on you are your school district and to answer your quizzical smiley faces from my earlier post, think about orientation when someone says someone is  Butch, that's where the Lesbo comes from..........LOL
 9. Depends on how much our area coaches fight for local playoff games, I see Houston still getting the bulk of the games though in the 4a and 5a levels and since Butch has to get his pay that would leave Lamar, PNG and other area stadiums more affordable for the smaller school playoffs. I wonder who gets paid more, the Chancellor of Texas State University Systems regents or Butch the BISD Superintendent.
You got a deal there Rykerx!!!!!!   19-4A wins vs 20-4A wins when playing each other this year.  District with the most wins, the other person wears the shirt and sports the picture for their avatar.  Shirt must be purchased, picture taken, and avatar posted before either 4A state championship game in 2010 season.  Picture must remain until 2011 season 4A state championship games.  Lettering on shirt must be dark color and legible with the shirt solid hot pink in color.       Games that count: 1. Any post season match-ups between 19-4A and 20-4A 2. BH vs Lumberton 3. BH vs Nederland 4. Crosby vs. PNG 5. GCM vs LCM 6. GCM vs. Nederland
isnt gcm vs lcm a scrimmage?
Nope GCM vs. LCM is actually the first game of week 0 on Thursday the 26th.
 11. In my opinion a reference note listing original author and article name should be posted along with any posting of a "portion" of an article to alleviate any misunderstanding since it is easy to post such a note and make it look totally opposite from what it's original meaning was supposed to be. i.e. posting "I hate dogs" could, from an original article, have said "I hate dogs being mistreated for any reason".
 12.
3 years in a row Dayton has finished higher in the polls than pre-season-I rest my case-How bout them dissen Friendswood, you gotta put them in there 8) ::) 8)
Nah, they probably realize that Friendswood is the greatest team on earth, "in their own minds" at least.

Question for BH fans what new offense has your guys new coach installed over there this season.
I believe it is called the "flexbone".
HMMM, uh never mind, that comment would be out of line..............I'll send a private to Bronco1 instead and you can repeat it if you want.  ;D

 15.

First of all, I do not know of any stadiums in the Gloden Triangle area. ;D But, if you meant Golden Triangle, why relegate the poll just to two stadiums? And, aren't you comparing apples to oranges? PNG has a football stadium. BISD has an Educational Support Center. That's two different things.
:D  :D
Actually PNG has a football stadium and BISD has the Lesbo Educational Support Center.  ::)
 16.
Frazier and Reyes, BH and Crosby will work our way up that list from wherever you want to put us.  Lower the better.  Bounce on over on 19-4A thread and take up the bet if your so confident.    ;) ;) ;)  ;D
First ya gotta sqeeze by the train to make it up this list. :o ;D
 17. My prayers go out to coach Crawford. As far as the perpetrator(s) are concerned, put me on the jury, my verdict would be, who's got the rope let's find us a good branch.
 18.
It was proposed to Dr. Thomas that the three BISD schools have a day where everyone scrimmages.  He rejected the proposal.
He was probably afraid they wanted to do it at Lesbo Field and didnt see any educational support for it. ::)
 19. The first year I know for sure was 1973. Didn't miss a game through to 1976, I was in the band.....LOL. Now as a FANatic, I started going regularly again around '84 when I moved back to L-Town and I've had season tickets for the last 15+ years, row C 50 yard line, but I only sit there about 5 minutes once during the season as I walk the sidewalk running the length of the field.
 20.
WB scrimmaged themselves...I think WB won... ???
Nah I heard (a) Butch won.
 21. Never really cared that much for Hooks but I do like how he schedules 3-way scrimmages.
 22. I think both teams looked pretty decent considering it was the first time to hit another team. Bridge City should make some noise, especially with those three different QB's who could pull the ball down and take off without batting an eye. That number 11 at the beginning almost got away from our guys, not sure if he's a regular QB or if he's a running back who just got the ball snapped on a trick play since I really only noticed that one play where he got the snap (was more initerested in keeping n eye on our guys). Hughes and Purks looked pretty good after their initial shakes and Asher did good too. L-Town seems to have plenty of receivers who aren't scared to catch the ball when an opponent is bearing down on them. Lumberton's D was looking strong too, swarming after the ball, LB's aren't Anthony Beard but they will definitely hold their own.
 23. I'll be drifting up and down the sidelines on the only active field left with sidewalks running along the length of the field. The train station baby!!!!!! If Lumberton ever builds a new stadium I will make sure to petition that we have our sidewalk.  ;D
