To all Orangefield players and Fans my heart goes out to you. I truly believed we would see you at reginals because of the outstanding players on both teams. I don't believe a bad call cost you the game- because a bad call is a mistake. This sounds to me like abuse of power. A much worst offence in my oppinion. I hope your coach and adm. goes as far as they can to see he is punished for his actions.It want change the outcome of the game but, it might stop him from doing it to anyone else. He should be held accounttable and it should be done publicly for everyone to see. On a different note I would like to hear about the encredible comback. We were getting messages during the last 2 minutes and were in awe of the girls. It's too good a story to let the ugliness of the final overshadow the comback. Can you load a vidio of the last of the game to let everyone see the end?

If your from Kountze do you not watch your Kountze Lions and have you even seen the girls in question play? If you haven't then who's opionion are you voicing. Also SHSTigers its the silsbee people who are saying she is the only player on the team. Their saying that is the reason why they came in third.place.

Very well said Bleed orange and if anyone should have a bias opinion it is you. You let others talk about your daughter and wait to see if she receives what she has truly earned. I want to thank whoever came up with this forum. I'm learning to type and even spell somewhat. I can talk and meet others like myself who have falling in love with girls basketball. Although I may have to join rehab after my daughter graduates I am still enjoying this sight. So THANK YOU and keep it growing

Some of your points are valid except the people who will be voting also only saw each play twice and it was against them. I will agree if you say only one can win then KK is that one. The only difference is when its too close to call because they are all deserving why not CO-MVP's. They have district championships like that and it doesn't take away anything from anyone of them it just says great things about the district.

Your wrong about KB being streaky behind the arc. She just can't sit on the outside and wait on the ball because as point guard she tries to get others going early. When she gets open to take the 3 she is very accurate. If you get the others % on the 3 I'll get KB's. As far as athletic you must mean height because all 3 are athletes. Predictions on the future is not part of the conversation. If you watched the NCAA Championship last year the Tennessee team had a 5'3" point guard who plays alot like KB so who knows what the future holds.

You have all made my point. That is why I started out with the three way tie. Each girl has earned it on their team. They have also earned it in district. If they all played in 3 different districts they would probably earned 3 different MVP's. All the possitives make them unique as players. My point is they all deserve the award. If one wins it that want mean the others didn't deserve it as well. They are all seniors and did everthing they could for their teams. We can argue for a lifetime who each of us thinks should win. But, we can all agree they all 3 are great players and have earned the right to be in the argument. Just for giggles Orangefield winning didtrict when everyone picked them 3rd means the predictors were wrong, and a D-1 ride doesn't win you a award, and being 5'3" doesn't mean you can't play with the big girls. ;D ;D ;D

Shackbully I believe if you look back the previous 5 years the district champion didn't win the MVP 3 times if I'm not mistaken. Its great that we have 3 girls to talk about and not just average girls. I believe these 3 are very good players and all from our district. I just can't find a way to say one is better than the other because their all good and different. And if you take any of them away from their team it will hurt them. They mean alot to their teams success.

Old ref I have been very vocal about some officiating this year in a negative manner ;D But untill I read your post I realized I forgot about the officials in our game. When the refs are in control and your attention is on the players then they did a good job. And instead of yelling I want to say good job. I always say their are good refs but we seem to remember only the bad ones. So here's my at a boy, good job, you aint all bad, hope to see you again, keep up the good job, and remember it was bobcat05 who was keeping up with the foul count not HJ just incase we meet again. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

HJ and Central would be a great warm -up game

Now you know I'm a big Katelyn Bersen supporter, But when you look at the big 3 in the district I can make a case for all 3. I believe there should be a 3-way MVP with KK, KB and Ang Green. They all are great players at different positions. When you look at the entire picture You can not say one is better than the other for their teams or as individuals. Give me KB at the point with Ang ona wing and KK on the other with Bree hall at post and Orangefields post at the other side with Latricia Moore and Chelsey Tyler off the bench and they'll beat some College teams. All 3 are MVP's

I will tell you tonights game had the atmospere of a good boys game, The fans on both sides had numbers and were loud. Cheering their teams and hollering at the refs. Good job and keep coming to support these girls. They deserve your support and they play hard. I had some friends come to their first girls game when we played Silsbee and they were back tonight. They are catching the fever and realizing girls got game too. One day the media will hear about the girls games and come see for themselves. Or better yet some of these girls could get a TV degree and make their employees get with the program.

I did call the enterprize to remind them about the game and he told me they only had 4 people in the sports area and only one that did High School sports. The rest do Lamar, Hockey, and other area's. They said the Orange Leader only has 4 schools to cover is why they do so good for the local sports. He didn't like it when I said they don't do a very good job. ;D ;D I guess their okay being 2nd or 3rd I mean last in area sports. I guess we need to start up a local paper and OLGabe will be the Chief. :D I'll be in the complain deptment.

Both teams wanted tonights game really bad and they both gave all they had. It was a classic Orangefield-HJ game. These 2 teams will give it their all if its for a District Championship or for a box of rollos from the concession stand. I was really impressed with the Orangefield defense tonight because It made our team work hard. Both teams will be better after this contest for the playoffs. I wish we could go to a neutral court for a warm-up game saturday just for the atmosphere. Oh well wishful thinking I quess I'll have to wait untill the Reginal Final. See ya there111 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I bet when Orangefield and HJ are still in the playoffs and Central and Ozen are gone they will be at our games like they were there the whole year. Hopefully if this is the regional finals they will show. Also I believe this very well could be the reginal finals with HJ the victor. I predicted the game first. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
