I agree with what you are saying but, the post I beleive is how fisical the games are getting.I may be wrong thats the impression I got. Also the only reason your point is valid is because most games are not decided by a few points. To say 2 or 3 bad calls can't change a 1 point game is wrong. Your theory is if you play perfect you win. No Ones perfect and you should't expect your team to be. The game is changing from fundamentals and defense to playground hoops. You see to much of the And1 show where walking double dribble and defense are not part of the game.Its a great game and it should be played by the rules. When it is played the way it was intended it is a great sport.What are we teaching our kids? That rules are not always right. By the way tonights game was well officiated and played hard by both teams. WOS played hard the entire game and HJ played hard and every player contributed.

Coach 27 it is clear 8 years isn't enough. I've got 14 years and some of those years was agaist chelsey and wilson and if its plain dumb to keep your best players on the floor your in the minority.If you watch the best players in the area they do not come off the floor until the end period. You must consider yourself a better coach than the ones at Lumberton, HJ, HF, Orangefeild and all other top programs. Lumberton didn't lose a game because the bench didn't play any more minutes. They lost because their best girls got into foul trouble. You win tough games with your best. Your probably one of those coachs that thinks everyone deserves the same minutes. It dosn't matter if you win. Your screen name does't fit your coments.

Your comments about how many minutes the top two girls got even in wins is probably because your kids were sitting on the bench. Just because your winning your top players should't have to go to the bench that would be wrong they earned their minutes. As far as this year, Central and Ozen are better but they have a chance to make the playoffs. Lumberton will be back because of their little dribblers program and it will be soon. This is Centrals year and they don't have anyone helping continue their program. Like WOS who had a great 3 year run with a few girls they are in for a long wait for the next group. HJ, Koutze, HF, Orangefeild and lumberton will always be contenders because of their little dribblers programs. One lower than expected year doesn't spell doom. Lumberton will be leaders in their didtrict soon and for a long time.

As much as I enjoy complaining about the refs The only way to change the poor officiating is to let the leaders of their organization of the problems and ask them to address our concerns. If everyone expressed their concerns and not just a few, I beleive they will make some adjustments. This will probably result in more fouls being called so the kids will have to again adjust to the officiating. Also paying more at the gate so they can you can pay maybe a sliding scale for better refs with the highest approval ratings getting paid more. Also instead of three of the best refs doing one boys contest make the best refs head refs and all at different locations. We all know the boys get the best and the girls get whats left. This also needs to adressed by the schools so we need to go to our AD and voice our concerns also. As for the vulgar mouths they need to be thrownout by the cops who are at every game. This does not mean opposing fans displeased with a call but strictly profanity ( Lets take a positive step to make it better for the future )

Just wanted to shout at Gabe and the Orange Leader GREAT JOB!!!! If only we had more men and women doing their jobs as well as you do yours for the local teams. Oranfield and the other local schools in your area are lucky. If you ever want to come to hardin county and start a newspaper count me in. Again great job and keep up the good work.

Congrats Orangefield you have earned your 8-0 district record with great play and great coaching. I am still impressed with your passing and defense.

If you knew the truth you surely wouldn't say anything about HJ. Your girls were not defending themselves because there the ones with the attitudes. Even another silsbee player came and oppologized to our players afterward for the actions of her teammates. It is a dead issue only if silsbee makes sure the supply seperate dressingrooms for opposing teams like anyone with a brain would do.

Its not about Orangefield. I really enjoyed the atmosphere.That kind of game and the fans is the absolute best. Orangefield, HJ, Kountze, Hampshire Fannet, and Silsbee are the best for supporting their girls. These are the kind of games you remember forever. Even when I want my team to win I enjoy the game and how it brings out the best in the players. My comments on the foul trouble isn.t about were the game was but the first 3 fouls they called on our point guard were imaginary. They weren't bad calls they were made-up. The fact that we should of been called for a lot of other calls that we did deserve and they weren't called makes the ones that they called stand out. The Orangefield Coach had a good reason to complain about some of the calls that went against his team but,at least they weren't on one player.I know if KK or Ang get 3 fantom calls in the first 10 minutes of there game it will hurt their team.I continue to wish for fairness and consistency for both teams on the floor.

The game is at Orangefield. I'm hoping Silsbee wins to keep the possibility of a 3-way tie for a district championship alive.But, with Orangfields defense they should have the edge.I do hope Ang Green is allowed to stay in the game to make it interesting.

he on the court talk should be controlled by the officials. We all know that aint gonna happen.but, to add another problem the ther night we lost to silsbee at silsbee and after the game our girls went to the dressingroom provided for us and a couple of the silsbee players came in and started running their mouths. Our Coachs were not there and by the time they got there the rest of the silsbee team was at the door.If you play at silsbee make sure the coachs stay with the players at all times. Silsbee has a brand new school but it had to have 3 of its players dress in the visitors dressingroom. Unbelievable

I havent responded because I couldn't get a answer to my question. I realize some people can't admit when their wrong or make a mistake.And after Friday it will be over. The HJ coach doesn't have anything to do with what I say! Our girls don't need anything to get pumped up. They play to win very game.

Is going to be excitiing game that the girls are looking forward to.I will predict the outcome based on what I've seen. HJ needs this to get back on track since a very disappointing loss to silsbee. I do know Orangefield will be ready and they want to beat HJ. This has been a great rivalry for a while and its time for HJ to get back on top.

I agree with you and that is a coachs saying always. I prefer to play the game.I'm glad you got all them rings, But us old farts,this is all we got so don't hate one day you will get old too.Also anything less than a State Championship would be a little disoppointing because I know we have a team that can go all the way. AND I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW IT!!!

First to Bobcat1 your right Hj will fall a few spots in the 3a poll. Orangefeild will fall completely out of the poll. Central will fall completely out of the 4a poll and Memorial never was in one. To hjhawks your right the poll at the end is the best one. So tell setx not to post this on. It gives us something to talk about and the girls also get a kick out of it and, you know what I'm saying is true about the losses. We should drop except for the fact everyone below us also lost and lost more games than us. If it doesn't mean anything why would you say if we correct the problems we'll get back to the top. To cat22 it is a simple question that I asked. How does a team with 2 losses and a team with 3 losses jump a team with 1. And to all of you this is how I bide my time till the next game. So if HJ lost to someone that is not on this list they would't have lost a spot? Its about numbers always. If a team who is 1-12 but won that 1 game last week your theory would be they would be #1. One reason girls don't get the respect they deserve is because we talk and treat them with emotion instead of the same as boys. If this was on the boys side it would have been delt with with numbers and wins and losses. Girls are who do we like this week. Your argument and statements do not hold water. Its about math.

Its not about 1 spot. Last poll had 1-HJ, 2 Central, 3 Memorial, 4 Orangefeild. since then HJ losses 1 game, Central losses 2 games, Memorial losses 3 games, Orangefeild loses3 games. The only team that losses a spot is the one with the least amont of losses. Numbers don't lie. Its not a feeling or a favorite when they play games.If anything all 4 teams should have moved down if someone below didn't loss any games.Math is easy.
