I wouldn’t say a win over kountze is a big one although it is a win. If Deweyville can contain evadales running back they will win. He’s a tough kid who could play anywhere around Setx. It will be a close game like last year. Evadale spreading it out while the pirates ground and pound it.

It'll be hard for the Pirates to stop that running back of Evadale. Who are the DC's at each place nowadays? Only hope for the pirates is that slot-t is hard to defend sometimes. Evadale has done it before though.

I’m excited to see this district play out. I still remember when there was that three way tie up until the last week a few years ago. Gotta come out and play. Couple bad drives or an untimely turnover can be the difference. It’ll be interesting.

West Sabine struggled last year badly last year. It's good to see them do well. They had some dudes when Vanya and Starks were there.

Going out on a limb and saying West Hardin takes the W. Last year was 24-12. I think the Oilers can get over the hump.

Something about a lawsuit at a prior school and Frankston let go of the AD. I read somewhere that there was only like 1 or 2 football coaches on staff in July.

People don't think that Lumberton will beat Kirbyville because they got throttled by Newton. They think that because Kirbyville isn't very good this year.

how early is too early?

At the end of a Friday night, it’s who scored more points. Not had more yards though.

I’d say that kirbyville could be bottom two of that district.

Bottom half of that district. 5th or 6th.

I think it all depends on how the top three fall in that district. Orangefield, East Chambers, and Woodville will be tough to beat. A team like Buna can sneak up and beat someone they aren't supposed to as well. A bad week in district could cause your playoff run to end earlier. If what you say is correct about Woodville, I think EC will have the more well rounded team to win. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I hope it is like a few years ago when it was competitive to the end with Buna, Kirbyville, and EC.

I have a feeling they wont win 7 games this year.
