  1. Anyone know a good place to see highlights, I only saw the 6 and 12 sports which had about 2 minutes of highlights, I tried to find them on YT and other places, but didn't. ??
  2. Just like you called it๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  3. WOODVILLE EAGLES WOO HOO! T Hunter the player of the game. I was also impressed how he pulled himself out when he got gassed, most kids don't have sense enough to do that. 3 td's one on defense and 2 on offense. Play call of the game screen pass to Barlow. Woodville's defense played bend but don't break. The false starts were a result of TH fans having about 200 horns they blew the whole game that made it hard to hear. Kudos to Woodville fans for a good turnout (also had a lot help from communities close by) and making some noise that I believe caused TH some issues also leading to false starts. Didn't know the return guy was freshman but he contributed in a big way. This was a great game to see live. Love this venue and they have some really good people working there. I heard that the big runnning back for TH weighed 250, and he looked like he was about 6'3".
  4. Thanks
  5. Does anyone know which side Woodville is going to be Home or Visitor?
  6. New Caney is an easy trip from Woodville, and not too bad from the Triangle, I would like to see anyone who can go to this game. Let's go help out these Eagles. FYI, I'm pretty sure you have use on line tickets.
  7. The defensive backs were on the receivers like white on rice. PNG QB was rifling the ball to try to get it in there, that's one reason why the 1st pass was deflected and intercepted. I don't think we completed more than 3 or 4 passes all night and QB did not have time for routes to develop. Hate to lose, but they were 8 or 10 guys faster than PNG's fastest man. Good year, thanks to all of the players who worked so hard for so long to let us have a lot of fun watching you these past 3 years. Hold your head up high. I'm thinking PNG will also have a good baseball team this year.
  8. I already mentioned it in another post but he had several key plays at critical times in that TH game. He's kind of been running under the radar, but I don't think that's going to be the case going forward.
  9. Wow that m instead of n makes a significant difference. Sorry I missed that. My mom and Dad had season tickets for about 30 years she told me a couple of weeks ago (she's 91and he would've been 95) one time they were discussing who would get what if they ever divorced and she told him she would get the PNG tickets and he said, oh no I'm gonna get those. They stuck it out for 66+ years.
  10. Wow, someone needs to do the math on how many games png9mom has been to, also I totally agree with your other post about how much more fun it is to be at the game live than watching it on line. Last Friday I was hugging total strangers with purple on of course, none of the TH fans (and there were quiet a few on the home side) wanted to get near me.๐Ÿ˜
  11. Yeah he's wearing #17 and he's a freshman
  12. Freshmen were not playing at high school in the 70's. Jr high was 7,8,9th grade
  13. Wow, that thought never crossed my mind, that would've been great
  14. Just watched the NDN press broadcast, after a rerun, PNG could've easily won by a bigger margin. Really reimpressed by how the Defense handled their star running back. Also very pleased with the sportsmanship shown by several PNG players after the game who were taking time to comfort #1 for TH who was crushed for losing. Great game, my face is cramping from smiling for the last 36 hours. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  15. No problem, I've got long time family ties to Woodville, I'm hoping for the best for them. I'm really excited about how well they're doing. Lord willing, I'll get see them again this year. It would be great to see them and PNG playing in the State finals this year. I know it's one game at a time and both teams have a long row to hoe to get there but, it's not impossible.
  16. Hope this was not taken as mockery, I saw them play GS and they were very disruptive on defense. I've only seen them play that one game, so could believe based on that game they could average 3 takeaways per game.
  17. Sorry for double post, technology left me behind when they took away my fat pencil and my Big Chief tablet
  18. I want be careful not be negative, but I don't understand why they had a different (#67?) kick the extra point which he made then he kicked off on the ensuing kick off and it was as good as any of the kickoffs and then went back to the other kicker for the rest of the game. One is left footed and one is right footed so that brings in another variable with the center and the holder, just doesn't seem logical for something that relies so much consistency and timing.??
  19. L1996 - you got me laughing, this is reminiscent of a recent event in our country where well known 'celebrities' predicted a certain outcome and then came the meltdowns.
  20. WOW, averaging 3 turnovers a game!!
  21. Forgot to mention what a big part the PNG band and Indianettes played in last nights win, try to imagine that game without the band. Good to hear from you again PBT.
  22. I think there are several 'intangibles' that played a part in this win. Losing to Nederland woke them up to how much we all hate to lose. After TH clobbered Nederland, they were overconfident knowing PNG had lost them. I also think the Thursday night game PNG an extra day to recoop and get ready, this might have been just enough to win.
  23. WOOHOO!!!! Great Job Eagles
