Really???? Well, unfortunately you are like most then.... Too many coaches simply coach to win A game, if you have the talent to win a State Championship, then you better be coaching EVERY game with that idea in mind. Big difference between coaching to win today, than coaching to WIN A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Just curious....... Do you Coach to GET to the State Championship Finals or do you Coach to WIN a State Championship???

Or...... Maybe one that will be willing to embrace the FORWARD pass as a viable offensive weapon......

No saltiness whatsoever..... If I want an interview, I will get an interview..... Woodville will get a good coach, of that I am sure. He will probably have some success and for the sake of Woodville, I hope they win a State Championship. Unfortunately, he will ride the coat tails of the athletes and use it to get a better job. Finding a coach that can win and is willing to stay in towns like Woodville long term is really difficult.

Local, as in deep SETX? OR, local as in Northern SETX? Hearing MONEY might be an issue for some wanting the job......

You are probably right.... But, not every team has the QB whi is capable or the receivers that could get open and make plays... Woodville did, so.......

I know EXACTLY what is going on in the headsets..... Were you at the game? Woodville definitely had some opportunities early in the game to attack down field and score and change the complexion of the game.

You can be tough, play great, physical defense and still THROW the ball down field.

I'm pretty sure there is a large contingent of Wville people that are happy there is going to be a change. I understand that they got to the CHAMPIONSHIP game, but they were never going to beat Gunter without a VERTICAL passing game. They have the QB and receivers to threaten people down the field, but Ty was never going to allow that. Wville needs an offensive minded coach running the show if they think they can get back to a CHAMPIONSHIP game again in the next two years.

I know who you are talking about and you are correct. I also know that if he wouldn't have gone with TF to Woodville, the one that was going to go is also a heck of a QB developer.
