To me running up the score means that a team takes time outs or onside kicks or keeps going deep to score when they are way ahead. If you put in the second team and they move the ball and score then that means they are doing what they have been coached to do. You can not coach kids all week to do their best then on game night because you are ahead by 40 tell the guys in the game to go 50% speed. As long as you are not intentionaly trying to embarrass someone then it is not running up the score.

I havent ask anyone but could be Conroe ISD needed the stadium for one of their teams or could be that playing at Sam is really great for the players to play at a very nice stadium. Both teams have new head coaches so could be something there too. I really like going to Sam myself.

Game was to be played at Moorhead in Conroe now at Sam H,  heres the tale of the tape                       Moorhead          Bowers West Orange        117 mi              143 mi Giddings              100 mi              104 mi For me I really do not see much of a differnce. round it off 25 more miles for WOS really the same for Giddings.

I think I owe Doc Teuscher some more money, Golf handicap is under 7 now. Knee is a little tweeky at times but I should be good to go. Yep bulldog had some torn cartilige and had to miss last two weeks of season and any playoff games I may have recieved. As for the eyesite I did get some new specs a few weeks ago !!!!!

Better hope it does not rain a bunch between May 19 and May26th. 2 rounds in 6 days could get hairy if weather is a prob. And before anybody says that is 7 days, I am not counting Sunday which you can not play a UIL contest. This also just lets you know that for some schools and people baseball is one of those Oh Yeah sports, Oh Yeah we have a baseball team too.

So you are saying WOS beats Kibyville in regular season then loses to them in playoffs. Interesting

if the runner reaches before the time of the pitch, which is when the pitcher starts his motion to pitch, then he has aquired that base and would not have to go back in either instance.

I really think it is time that someone step up and help out that school district. I say lets send them Dr Butch and Beaumont will just have to try and get by with out him. Just think how much they could save on electrical work too.  :-X

That was the only game there that day. Back in the seventies I do not recall multiple championship games being held at the same venue. Only one division back then.

Any predictions on next years totals with the BBCOR bat ? If we get to 300 it will have been a good year but I think it will be closer to 250.
