i would say baseball takes more skill and more reaction than anything, but football players go through a lot more to get where they are

PLAYTIME how do you know Statum and Felts?

I played select baseball with Statum for about 4 years and with felts foe 2 years they are both really good ball player, they both have the atitude it takes to play baseball, and yes vidor does have some good Jv players they have like 5 freshman on the jv team and 1 on varsity they will be pretty good in a couple years

Watch out for Vidor Pirate basketball next year.They only lost 3 seniors and two starters. Yes they lost noah cole, the heart of the team, but in think junior jason williamson can step up and take the leadership just like his older brother was. Vidor pirates Playoff bound in 07'

How about a couple years ago Vidor vs Ozen. going into 3rd OT coach matthews makes a gutsy call and goes for 2 point conversion after the TD, but they dont convert and Ozen wins it. was a really good game

best tradition i must say is the vidor halftime show on homecoming, it is by far the best in southeast texas. They really go all out

yea i like the idea of one big field but it would be hard to get all the games in on one weekend, and also it takes away from the home field advantage

Brandon Thurman has the potential to be a really good 1st baseman and ball player. If he would just give 100% all of the time.

yes but for jv the short stop had 3 errors and the right fielder drop two fly bvall, one of which gave up the 2 tying runs to send it into extra innings

to the JV he just told them good game and way to battle, but after the game the varsity baseball team turned into the varsity track team. they ran a lot

friday night in vidor's bye week vidors jv played a game against the varisty with umpires and everything. In a surpirsing upset the jv beat the varsity in extra innings 9-9 thru 9 innings. Very shocking
