Coldspring vs. Buffalo Friday at 7pm in Coldspring

It will be just fine. A very solid staff. People are going to be surprised. Just sit back and enjoy. I would look more at Buskens achievements rather than the salacious media stuff.

Well we ain’t talking about Ranger, Tx. We are talking about Coldspring where he will have talent to work with.

It will be a good staff. Some assistants will be staying while others decided to go elsewhere before the hire was made. I just know this will be a good staff and I hope the people in Coldspring get behind it. The kids really like Coach Bird. He went to school in Groveton and coached in Groveton. So he knows what small town football is like.

You have to look at where he was at. Also he is going to bring in some really solid assistants.

He was actually the Defensive coordinator. The school website had it incorrect.

Should have some news this evening after the school board meeting.

It won’t be to much longer.

I think the people in Coldspring will be happy with the next hire. The guy will be a really good fit for Coldspring.

He was previously at Quitman.

Dr. Leland Moore is the superintendent now. Not Gibson.

Congrats to WOS on another great season.

The Sheperd coaches did a very good job of adjusting in the second half. I really hated to see it.

Should be a good team as usual with a strong running game.  We do have a question mark at quarterback with the Morrison kid taking over for 3 year starter Scott.  Will know how good this team is gonna be early on with tough games throughout non-district.  CE King will probably be improved, Navasota and LaMarque should be very good as usual as top teams in 3A.  LCM will probably be good as well so this will be a very good early test for the Trojans.  The offensive line which has only one true starter back from last year is a bit of a question mark as well.  This team will go as far as the offensive line takes them.  The defense should be very good again under Coach Morrison.  Coach Barbay should have a top team in Region III, but we will have to wait and see how everything goes in the non-district schedule. 

I heard the same exact words during the radio interview after the game.  I think that is when they got the quotes.  Cause it was verbatim. 

score update?

Region 3 was the toughest bracket in all of 3A2 and everyone knew it would be a battle to win.  Coldspring, LaMarque, WOS, and Navasota could have won it.  It was a very difficult task.  We all knew Navasota was good.  I believe they win the state title.  Good luck to the Rattlers.  Great season Mustangs.

It was a great season.  I knew it was gonna be a very tough road in the playoffs.  Tonight LaMarque was the better team congratulations to them.  Congratulations to the senior Trojans.  Many of them played on the state finalist team.  They had a wonderful career.  Until next season when the quest begins again.

Should get to see the end of the Dawson game live at Reliant.  On my way to watch Coldspring play LaMarque.  Sounds like it will be a good one.
