  1. So possibly.... PN-G Vidor Nederland Crosby Dayton Barbers Hill Cleveland Beaumont Central Baytown Lee Beaumont Ozen
  2. We lose Lumberton, PAM, Livingston and possibly both Beaumont schools leaving... PN-G, Nederland and Vidor locally. Do we get absorbed into a district with Crosby, BH, Dayton, etc?
  3. Port Neches Groves Indians (10-1 7-1) 1 College Station (50 year old) Cougars ( 10-2 6-0) 99 Port Arthur Memorial Titans (10-1 7-1) 35 Temple Wildcats ( 9-3 5-1) -7 Silsbee Tigers ( 7-4 4-1) 19.5 Carthage Bulldogs( 12-0 6-0) 49.66 West Orange Stark Mustangs ( 10-0 4-0) 26 Madisonville Mustangs (JR) ( 11-1 4-0) 13
  4. Stupid post. We had at least 6 false start calls before then and snaps that rolled back on the ground numerous times.
  5. My bigger concern was seeing WR's lined up in the slot and nobody on the defense covering them. We never shifted. One play they hit a pass but it seemed they had a run play called and were flagged for an illegal man down field. Our D players have to be smarter than that.
  6. I see what you are saying and RJ is a great player but I think you are a little off base. Bost can play QB and the snap issues were not on him. The new center struggled all night. RJ is a once in a generation type player for PN-G and if he were not there I am sure Faircloth would build his offense around the skill sets he has. There is a reason every QB he has had play for him sets new records. RJ has taken it to another level though with his ability and competitive nature and it has no doubt helped PN-G be more successful. Your point is right on but it is a little unfair to make the rest of the team out as bumbling idiots that can't play ball. Also I don't think that was your intent, it just came across that way.
  7. Whenever the PN-G offensive starters come out on defense and the defensive starters on offense it will really throw Texas City off.
  8. Scott Young once used a metal clothes hanger to replace a broken antenna on a cordless phone. True story. I know it is hard to believe but I saw it with my own eyes.
  9. I heard the PA Chiefs had two kids that got to PN schools play for them. Is that true? I was told they were allowed to since they started their when they were younger.
  10. I am not getting into what ifs. Just trying to help explain what people might mean by Faircloth being conservative. Nederland played a better game. Plain and simple. Better game plan and better execution.
  11. If you watched any PN-G games this year you would have seen that running RJ 40 times is not the offense he has ran. I think by saying conservative they mean he abandoned the pass. Hughes and Stansbury were getting one on one coverage and Stansbury did not have an incompletion thrown his way. Also all the pooch kicks when we have a kicker that can kick it out of the end zone was nerve racking. 10 or 15 yards is not a huge deal but when Nederland scored with only 13 seconds left it could have been.
  12. I doubt they get to "question" the coach but he will take the time to go over plays and explain why they did what they did right or wrong.
  13. I think the point of the thread was that #74 is a big kid. Not that he should be on defense in particular. It is not an official crying about the defense thread unless PNGwhatever1990 starts it.
  14. Yes it was. Smart on Nederland's part. Reminds me of Lumberton mowing everything but the field for the youth games. Have to neutralize where you can.
  15. that is not a PNG fan asking about the player.
  16. I think PN-G had (2) sophomores in #74 and the Center #58 along with one Junior (one of the guards) Lots of young talent for both teams.
  17. clutch play for sure. Also irrelevant to this thread. Didn't he have an INT as well on defense?
  18. Nobody is saying the defense cannot play better. You are claiming there are better players riding the pine as if you have some kind of magic vision that allows you to think the defense would improve if only Faircloth would listen to you. Just let it go. Complaining on a message board is not going to help anything. More than likely it will make it worse.
  19. Apparently Coach Faircloth looks at where you live and if you contribute to the booster club when deciding his defensive starters. Then stashes the poorer studs on the bench.
  20. Not making an excuse. There was standing water on the sidelines. It was obvious they watered down the field. It makes a difference when you dont have longer cleats for the mud.
  21. I am pretty sure a Crosby poster was on here saying Crosby sat 4 or 5 starters. I would be shocked if that was the case.
  22. I still love how ned got about 12" of rain before kickoff. Might want to treat those maintenance guys to some Wheelhouse too.
  23. It is 25 dollars to join the booster club. Free to go to meetings.
