Does anyone know if they are still practicing in the evenings? Went earlier and no one there. What time do they practice in the evenings if they do? Thanks.

From what I have read he sounds like he will be a good coach for us. This should be an interesting year for us to say the least.. all the pieces comming together. We will know in August if the puzzle pieces fit. Man Im so ready for football season to start up again lol.

Who is Ted Williams? Where did he coach at prior? Sorry just haven't heard that name before?

Does anyone know if this will be broadcasted on TV?

Scooter, your rather quick to throwing teams under the bus and predict teams to be "upset" this or that week. What happened to WOS tonight.. yes.. they were UPSET as well. You predicted WOS to come out with a win... didn't happen. I'm not saying that theres no chance that we wont be the upset for this upcomming week, but what I am saying is this, any team can be beat on any given night. Just like WOS did.. so can Brownwood. Then where will you stand? Who's wagon will you jump on then? Look at Celina.. whom was the #2 ranked team in 3A... upset by Lovejoy. So go ahead and proclaim Brownwood the 3A D2 Champ.. your predictions haven't impressed me in any way shape or form. And by the way.. remember on the WOS vs BR thread.. I made the comment about the turnovers.. how it can come back to haunt you against a well oiled team?... my point exactly. The way I see it... you have nothing better to do than to hop from train to train.. which ever team is advancing each week.. stick to a team and back em 100%. Quit flip-flopping. It only makes yourself look like a fool.

Do you call the dogs off and not risk the chance of getting any of your starting players hurt? Or do you keep em going 4 quarters full speed and keep them conditioned? Its a tough call either way..but if they are as good as they are made out to be.. calling the dogs off would be the best choice. There may come a time when they will be up against a team that is out for blood just as much as a win. And a win at all cost. A win that could result in having one of thier key players out for the season. Seems like too much of a gamble for me to keep them in at all times. But, Im not the coach, so it really isn't anyones call but his. *shrugs*

Never forget.. they gotta get past us to get there  ;D ;D BTW: I was at the WOS/Liberty game (Im sure some Liberty fans saw us.. we were sitting on your side in full Kirbyville gear ;) ) and I gotta say to WOS.. the two fumbles inside the 20 yd line could come back to haunt ya'll. It didnt affect the outcome of the game in any way, shape, or form.. but when you do that against a keyed in team.. they will benefit from those mistakes. Just curious, as we're all waiting for the updates on the date/time/location .. does anyone have the stats on Waco La Vega? What is their record this year, who are their losses to?...and are they a running/passing team.. or combo?

I'm kinda hoping for Nac. or Huntsville. Not to keen on the Thurs. night games either. I have 2 lil ones in Elem. school and it was rough on them having to wake up this morning to take tests after being in Lufkin last night. If they do choose it to be a Thursday, could they please schedule the tests for Thursday instead. It will be rough on the kids having to take tests after only getting a few hours sleep. But I do see the point on wanting to scout on Fridays after playing on Thurs. It's smart on the coaches part. But rough on those who have to travel and work the next day...or go to school the next morning as well.

I must say this..after watching how both teams play..this was not the same BC team that I saw in Kville several weeks ago. Its crazy to say..but it wasnt. I dont know what was going on with the INTs and 4th down turnovers..it just wasnt the same team. No offense to WOS. WOS brought their A game tonight..but I was expecting a closer score IMO. BC needs to work out some kinks here and there and they should do just fine the rest of the season. To the BC players..play every game from now on like yall did us..the wins should come. To the WOS players..yall showed alot of class act tonight. Yall should go far this year.

It's the same schedule that has been in there since the beginning of the season. If there has been any changes, it hasn't made thier way to the newspaper yet. There is no mentioning of Buna at all on any of the schedules. But, who knows?

I may get bad karma for this, but so be it. I honestly wanna call bull. Two years in a row Kville goes to state.. and 2 years in a row we dont get recognized. I just wish those that voted on this would pull thier heads outta the Golden Triangle long enough to see that there is DARN good talent out there... even if its a bit north of em.  ::)
