Congratulations on a great district season. Undefeated, I believe. Michelle Sladaritz is a very good player. The Bruins have a bright future. Good luck in the playoffs.

Lady Raiders Undefeated District Champs

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders. Good luck in the playoffs. -
Can anyone provide their overall record? District? From the paper, it appears they are dominating their opponents. How many goals and assists does Sladeritz have? Looks like multiple hat tricks from line scores. Lamar is getting a prolific scorer.

Outstanding accomplishment in two sports in one day. Congratulations young man

Dallas Ursuline beat Ft. Worth Nolan 1-0. It was the 9the straight time Nolan has finished runner-up to Ursulin. They are in the same district and Nolan won twice during the season, 2-1 and 1-0, but could not do it in the most important game. Ursuline beat St Agnes 5-0 in the semi-finals which gives you an indication of the strength of these two teams.

Plano John Paul II 4 Kelly 3... 2 OT's

Congratulations to the Kelly boys on a great season and well played final playoff game. Very few thought this team would go this far this season; a credit to the players and their coach. -
Kelly...........0 0 0 FW Nolan.....7 2 9 The score says all that needs to be said. Nolan is the top-rated TAAPS team in the state. A very young Kelly team has a chance to see where they need to be in the next few years. A disappointing finish to a good season. Great optimism for the future of the program. Kelly final record............9-9-3 FW Nolan record............21-7-1

Good list of some of the top girls in the area by Newbie. For Kelly, list could easily include Madeline Horning and Zuri Prince. I do need to note that 10 of the girls Newbie listed have played or currently play for Mike Hughes' Spindletop 93 team. Coach Mike has done as much as anyone to help develop girls soccer in Southeast Texas.

West Brook's Michelle Sladaritz signs with LU
watash replied to watash's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I have only witnessed a few of their games but based on what I have seen it is safe to assume that she is scoring or assisting on most of their goals. I am not sure what her total is for this year but I think she had 30 goals last year. -
West Brook forward Michelle Sladaritz signed a letter of intent to play for Lamar University. Congratulations to Michelle and everyone involved in contributing to her success. Good luck with the Cardinals.

I agree with Bullets. Let's see if I can track this: Kelly beats WB 6-3 WB beats PNG in a shootout WB beats Kelly 1-0 PNG beats WB and wins tourney which included Nederland Nederland beats WB 4-1 Lumberton beats Nederland 2-1 Kelly and Nederland tie 1-1 PNG beats Lumberton 1-0 Looks like five fairly evenly matched area teams. It is entirely possible the results could be different each time these teams play each other depending on home field, conditions, injuries and a variety of other factors. That is a good thing for Southeast Texas girls soccer.

Nederland………….0 1 1 Kelly…………..……..1 0 1 Nederland goal: Amanda LeDoux Kelly goal: Claire Dykeman Kelly assist: Adrianna Oxford A very nice night for soccer. The game was evenly matched between two of the top teams in the area. Both squads had other opportunities to score but defenses did not let up all night. These two schools should make sure they play every year because it was an exciting, enjoyable game. All the players competed hard and should be congratulated for their effort.

Kelly………….....……..1 0 1 Houston Christian….1 0 1 Kelly goal: Claire Dykeman Kelly assist: Teilor Long Hous. Christ. Goal: Mary Louise Clawson Kelly record: 9-8-2 I did not see the game. Understand that it was a close, well-played, defensive match. Obviously. Congratulations to the Lady Dawgs who finish second in the district and advance to the playoffs. One non-district game left: Nederland on Senior Night next Tuesday, Feb. 3rd. Nederland has been playing very well and it should be an interesting match up. -
Kelly................1 2 3 St Pius.............1 1 2 Kelly goals: Claire Dykeman(2) Jenny Hernandez Kelly assists: Yasmine Afshar Kelly record:9-8-1 Jenny Hernandez scores at 78 minutes for the game winning goal. Kelly secures a playoff spot. One district game left with Houston Christian on Thursday. Due to an injury, the Lady Dawgs started 1 senior, 6 sophomores and 4 freshman tonight. The future of Kelly girls soccer is extremely bright.

The Kelly Winter Classic will be Thursday through Saturday. All games are at the Meadows on Dishman road. Local teams include Ozen, Memorial, Hardin Jefferson, Bridge City, Vidor, PNG, Kelly and West Brook. Kelly and West Brook play tomorrow night at 7:00. I have attempted to attach the brackets but receive an error message stating that the attachment is too large. Coop, can you or one of the administrator's contact me and I can forward the brackets for you to post?

St. Louis........1 2 3 Kelly .............0 1 1 Kelly goal: Claire Dykeman Kelly assist: Yasmine Afshar Kelly saves: Chelsea Reid(14) It was a very sloppy field which greatly affected the skill of play. Kelly only had two subs and St. Louis wore them down. Madeline Horning had a good game at sweeper and Chelsea Reid had a great game at keeper or the score could have been worse. The shot ratio favored St. Louis and they put heavy pressure on Kelly's defense in the second half.
