Coming up in that regime.....I learned that Coach Washington was a decent coach. He was old school and was a good motivator and a good man..I just think he should have surrounded himself with better play callers. He should have taken the reigns more often. That being said I'm still really glad i got to play on Foreman's 1st Squad Foreman<Washington

That was 2011....my sophomore year. That was the Washington team that went 2-8. But hell the 3-7 Washington team the next year beat Lumberton pretty handily. And my Senior year(Formans 1st season) we run Lumberton straight outta Butch by halftime

Make sure Mr.Johnson has the right coordinates for the "air strikes" because Nederlands QB threw a good number of passes to the wrong team. The Jags only caught 1 of em but they might make the Indians pay if Johnson does the same

Aside from PA Memorial wouldn't the 5A district be pretty much the same?

Do feel that eventually that they will be competitive in 5A DII or do you think that IF(BIG IF) they would be better off and more competitive at a lower level

This is a discussion I've had with many people. In my opinion, I think they'll fair better in district play (District 10 4A DI) considering Navasota has taken a nose dive since coach Fedora jumped ship. But Region 3 in that level is loaded with the likes of Carthage,Henderson,Kilgore,and Center (District 9 whom they could face in the 1st Round). Also you have Houston Yates and North Forest who basically rule District 11 and i believe they can hang with Ozen. And in District 12 there are the likes of Stafford, El Campo, and Sealy. If the Panthers get bumped down, i see them being playoff contenders but not much more than that....... Anyone else care to share their thoughts

Heck if the Jags Offense would give the D a rest they could be as good as PAM or Vidor's D....if not better

If Central plays even better on both sides of the ball next week the Raiders may be in trouble. Lumberton's D will have to play a complete game. As will Central's offense.........To me LTrain's D vs our Offense will be the story of the game

That 2013 Nederland team we played against was Lethal. Preston White, Kendrick Hopkins, Deshawn Washington, Sage Seay, and most infamously Colton Kimler.

Lol that was the year after I graduated we lost to Nederland 21 - 7.

With PNG knocking off PA....the PNG Vidor game is gonna be really interesting. The 22-5A playoff race will be pretty crazy down the stretch
