1. Please do not mention West Brook and Richmond Foster in the same paragraph. That's like comparing oranges and horse apples. And that's being nice.
 2. One thing is for certain, whichever finalist wins the award will be deserving of it. You can put in a solid argument for all of them.
 3. I don't care who scrimmages who, Silsbee will be a handful this year, as will WO-S.  We will have some insight before they meet in the last district game as they will have 7 common opponents coming into the game.  Somebody better bring some heat.
 4.
Well, he is a Silsbee fan... Why would he ever pick against his home team? Objectively? Have you ever heard him broadcast a Silsbee baseball game? He is a little biased dontcha think???
Listened to the AAW broadcast of last year Silsbee-WO-S, the dust bowl I think and I (WOS fan) did not detect any bias.  Thats very difficult to do.

Is he only a Junior? Rattlers defense was best I've seen at any level in a while. Fast,Fast,Fast and swarming! Congrats to the Rattlers, the real "Greatest Show On Turf" ;)
Yes he is only a Junior. Navasota has so many good back ups that they would be able to have a repeat next year.
No thanks, I've already seen enough.  I hope a tornado blows Navasota into Louisiana.  Just kidding, congratulations to the Rattlers.
 6.
i picked Munday to win state to start the year.  8)
I predicted three years ago that this Munday class would win state.
I will just hire you to do my ditch diggin
OK, but you will not like what happens after it gets dug.

 9. Navasota will win the title.  No weaknesses, none.  Not fair to compare them to 5A though, Katy is on another level.  4A however they could make it interesting imo.  Good luck Rattlers.

Hey we got beat by an outstanding team last night. I think the only team that can beat Navasota would be themselves. I don't think we played smart Mustang football like we HAD to. We will reload like we have done time and time again. We will be back. We have a good core group that will be back and should have an outstanding freshman team. See if we can't beat that door down next year. [glow=red,2,300][/glow] As far as choking, no we didn't. Just ran into a better team. We are still an elite team and elite program. AS far as our QB, Jimmy Salter was not the problem, he has played outstanding the past three years. AS far as our offensive coordinator, he did what he thought was the best way to win. It just didn't work out. Now for those commenting about number 14 he is an outstanding young man and SMU is going to be getting a great ballplayer. He is not a cheap shot artist.
Elite teams/programs don't get blewout in the third round of the playoffs especially with the number one defense in the state...i guess you can say that #1 defense was very misleading huh? Cause I definitely didn't see a good defense out there not once last night...and if you don't call last night a choke then what do you call it?
I call it getting beat by a better team. If memory serves me right i think.lamarque lost to these guys too, you calling lamarque not an elite program..seems to me like they did some damage to ozen in more ways than one last year. You want to run our program down, bet you would love to play on a winner instead of Ozen. Come on admit it your envious. Even if i agreed that we choked (which i don't) the only ones that CAN choke would be teams good enough to get there. So far Ozen isn't even good enough to be ABLE to choke.
Its considered a choke when you have a defense who pitches 9 shutouts in a season and only gives up 42 points all year when playing no one then when faced against a formidable opponent nearly gets shuts out and almost gives up their season total in one game thats a choke in my book buddy
How can you possibly have any opinion on anything that happens after week 10 in football?  Just asking.
 11.
I know the owner of one of the owners of the the companies he mentioned and highly doubt he would something illegal. Before you post something on a message board opening yourself up to legal problems if not accurate. Ever heard of slander?
Good, then maybe one of the owners of the owner will pay your fine.  Maybe he could have worded it differently but its good to know where not to park.
 12. WO-S won 3 straight track titles recently.  Not district titles, STATE titles.
 13.

I will move on but I have this to say WOS would not have made it out of the second round if they would have been in the bottom side of the bracket. Coldspring and La Marque were a better team than WOS.
LOL... So now CS fans going to try and get their shots in? CS was a shadow of their former selves, they wouldn't have got past Lorena. LM and WOS would have been a good game.
I agree, WO-S vs. LaMarque would be a good game.  I also think that Coldspring vs. LC-M II would be a good one.

Go ahead and laugh now.
Even though you're still irrelevent, that was still a pretty good pick.  Congrats.
 15. Coldspring is another team that caught up in the Region III tornado with them dang 'Rattlers. I believe LaMarque, Coldspring and WO-S would have done well.  Navasota is just on another level this year.
 16. I was at the '86 Brenham/WO-S game in Huntsville and probably saw you play and no it wasn't a beatdown but a very good game, 17-7, I think.  Wasn't a relaxing moment until it was over.  Navasota proved last night that they are the real deal, and I'm pulling for them and Region III.
 17. '87, noticed a little animosity toward WO-S in some of your posts.  We know Navasota is the better team and proved it last night and probably would again tonite if they played.  I don't think WO-S defense was overated, the numbers don't lie.  Surely they haven't seen the likes of the "Rattlers but dont belittle a very good defense.  Maybe you're still smarting from that '86 beatdown, I don't know.
 18. Of course mistakes were made but sometimes a championship caliber team like Navasota will make their own breaks and force issues that other lesser teams will not.  That is why they are 14-0 and headed to the title.  Again good luck and great season 'Stangs.
 19. Was in that area yesterday.  Stadium about 1 block east of I-45 behind shopping center.  Almost across from Woodlands mall on other side.
 20. I was able to listen to most of the game, sounds like Navasota came in as advertised.  Still proud of the Mustangs, great season guys.  Good luck Rattlers, bring the title home to region III.
 21. I agree with you guys, but you can see if you were a "pot stirrer" this would be some good ammo.
 22. Several times it looked like WO-S had 14 defenders on the field but after replaying it several times in slow motion I saw that it was indeed only 11. Wow.
 23. I have a suite in Cowboys Stadium.  I'll wake up that morning and check out the action.  See all yall when you come in.
