I've also seen people criticize another fellow LM poster for his grammar instead of his opinion itself? C'mon really....wth does that have to do with football? How about I just say ALL SETX teams in the playoffs will all bring home the hardware in Dec. and the best football is played ONLY in the SETX area. As for last year it does not matter what any team has done the last game much less last year. I agree with your assesment of the BRONX and yes they will roll ;D [/quote] [color=navy][b]Yes we are pretty solid when it comes to playing the game itself but I'm our biggest critic because they do lack something I've complained about all year long even on our website...discipline. If you can get out of the gates fast and get up on them early while getting under their fingernails the wheels can fall off...IE...the Texas City game. That is the simple reason why no matter what happens we wont compete in any final this year. You don't get to that point by having athletes alone and if you've seen my prior posts it's no mystery I have no confidence in this coaching staff to take us to that level....it simply won't happen. The lack of discipline by Coach Jordan (from Dallas ISD prior to La Marque) is exactly the reason why the game vs. Yates was as close as it was. Yates wanted to play ghetto ball and we took the bait! I read up on Jordan's style of coaching while he was up there and the things that are taking place now are not too much different. I know I was embarrassed by the lack of discipline I saw on the field at times and I left that game shaking my head! If you watch the El Campo game and the Yates game the team conducted themselves on opposite ends of the spectrum.[/b][/color]

I also understand that when playoffs come then you'll get the occassional nut bags that come on boards and make their schools look horrible. Problem is, it's not been the case as I've seen the 100's if not 1000's of posts these people have made prior to commenting on my posts so they should know better. I'm a moderator on our board and if a total stranger came to our board and one of my members chose to ridicule them the way it happens over here then I'd put the smack-down on and make it quite apparent we don't treat our guests in that manner. You have to remember, 1st impressions make a big impact and judging by the lack there of guest posters I see posting in threads vs. members only I'd say this board isn't very well liked by outsiders in the long run. I don't particularly care for comments such as the one above because many inferences can be drawn by others which I don't find very appealing. I don't dare point out the easily apparent inference in the post above because of the possible ignorant backlash I might get from SOME here but you pretty much spelled it out so you get where I'm coming from. I dont know if your know C4L from LM who is quite knowledgeable beyond my experience when it comes to football but he used to post here also but stopped because he got tired of the homerism (is that even a word?) that's quite prevalent over here at times. He warned me that it was a fickle bunch over here but I do manage to get information here (mainly scores) so I choose to reciprocate and provide the same in kind.
