[/quote] Wow, can't believe this was posted.  Brenham is good, well coached, and definetely respected in 4A Football.  Schedules and rankings are always misleading in my opinion.  As long as there are no hiccups along the way Brenham should be in the final two this year.

Name game/blame game, it really doesn't matter.  Crosby has been the same way for as long as I can remember no matter who their head coach has been.  The players run the team over there, not the coaches or head coach.  Regardless, cliche, "at the end of the day" the player that tackled Jakari has to live with that and now Jakari has an extremely tough healing process ahead of him.

I guarantee Crosby will be trying to strip the ball every play.  That's their only shot, turnovers.  Dayton controls on defense and keeps the fumblitis under control they shouldn't have a problem.  Merka will have his shiny points because he's a stud but one man can't beat a TEAM.  Dayton rolls in this one.

Man, by far the worst are PNG and Friendswood posters....How Friendswood is not on the list I have no idea.  I'm sure I'll get a private email over this one from a Friendswood faithful.  Remember we have no teeth over here and bootleg moonshine  8).  

I haven't been able to make it to a game this year due to my work schedule BUT I think that they need to use and abuse ol'Delasbour.  He looks like a beast on the highlights and seems to have the running game down when he doesn't fumble or blow the play.  Dayton has always been able to work the spread and the running game would definetely make it that much better.  Also, if we can keep  Mr. Wadzek under 200 "uh's" during a football broadcast we've got a pretty good shot... 8)

I'm a somewhat believer in teams tend to play up to the potential of their opponent.  I believe GP will be ready to play against Dayton and give them a run for their money due to Daytons reputation.  Until Dayton get's their act together on offense and the fumbles are kept to a minimum/zilch, it will be a up and down season for the Broncos.  We, the fans, have been spoiled over the last several years with the standout talent on offense.  Just seems that there is not that one guy standing out right now.  Hopefully they'll get it figured out.

Cannot stand the "if" Dayton would hang on to the ball talk....probably gonna make my fellow Dayton brother's mad but if Dayton doesn't find their offense then it's going to be a long season, period.  Hopefully they'll get it going this week.

This has nothing to do with weight but since we're critiquing officials, I have to say those officials at the Little League WS every year are absolutely atrocious!  I get so p'd off watching those guys.....anyways.....it seems common practice that officials in all sports have been officiating by the pound, just say'n.

Dayton win's, PERIOD.

After attending the Brenham/Angleton playoff game last year I'm going to have to give the edge to Dayton.  Like one poster stated it will be tough to completely stop Diggs but he can be contained.  Dayton's defense will be able to contain him and unless Diggs had a complete transformation over the Summer the passing game will not be there.  One other observation from that game last year was that Angleton just flat out got out-coached by Brenham.  Brenham was the better team on the field but Angleton had their chances.  IMO Angleton never made the adjustments, seems like they had all their marbles in the Diggs basket and as we all know one player can be a game changer but it takes the whole unit to win.  Edge Dayton. Dayton by a TD

On that note.....for all you city folk moving out here to Dayton who have always wanted a farm and a goat.  Take note:  an acre of previous farm land that floods on a continuous basis when it rains is not a farm, it's a "rice field"!!!  Just sayn......
