should be general admission.  playoff games always are right?
From what I understand yes.  I think from the two teams alone they should only bring about 25 fans each so there will be plenty of room  ;D
 2. Hope this get's the blood pumping.... [Hidden Content]
 3. Massey say's PNG 23 - Brenham 18
 4. Depends which Waller team shows up.  They always bring the wood.  Dayton just needs to jump on them early and hit'em in the mouth.  None of this stickn'around crap.  I did a Massey on both teams and the final was 28-13 Dayton.  Don't mean jack but kind of fun.
 5. Doesn't matter.  You lose you go home.
 6.
Good job big Ned!   6 point loss to the number 1 team in 19-4A.  Can't wait to hear those guys side of it. Crosby defense is not very good.  How the heck the they shut out Dayton?
I said from the get go Nederland would have a good chance of beating Crosby who is WAAAAAAYYYY overrated....the reason again that Dayton supposedly lost was 47 inches of rain and 69 turnovers.  Can't win a game that way.  Was hoping the Dogs could pull this one out....
7 mary 3 Yes Brenham will be a great game, and we have played them before in Reliant, in preseason, when we were a power run team, not balanced like we are now. dont know how to predict this game but we win but by not much
Brenham is like Waller in that they always have a team that could show up one night and just knock your head off.  Just don't ever know what team is going to show up.  Better pack a lunch is all I can say.

A wise Apache soldier once said "It is better to have less thunder in the mouth and more lightning in the hand". Never underestimate the power of a young brave!
The only thing that stopped PN-G last night was themselves. 4 drives inside the 30 killed by penalties and a fumble. Barbers Hill played a good hard hitting game but lets not get carried away. They had 213 yards of offense for the night. They had 76 yards rushing with two runs accounting for 80 of those (that's right...negative yards rushing the rest of the night).....A busted play where the QB fumbled and the defense ran to the ball only to have it bounce right back to the qb where he made a last second pitch and another 35 on the last play of the half with our defense in prevent and him just running around with no chance of scoring. Up until the final 3 minutes BH had ONE penalty and ZERO turnovers for the night. They gave it all they had and it was not enough.
Yeah yeah yeah, here we go....no excuses needed.  Welcome back to the playoffs where anything can happen on any given night.  Kind of puts a new twist to the 4 team playoff advancement.  Brenham is going to give PNG a little better contest next week.  Still not impressed but will see what happens.
Actually... We could probably pull up our 7th grade Ponies to finish off the game, even then, Vidor still might not be able to score. Pirates being stampeded by Broncos won't be a pretty site.
Purple 4Ever, I have to say I'm a little surprised at some of your posts.  I have always thought of your post as some of the more unbiased and level headed posts.  Even your "Fearless" prediction for this game appeared totally biased.  I know that there has been a lot of smack talk on this thread from both sides, but I'm surprised by your reaction.  I guess you could be doing this all in fun, but you sure are leaving a much different impression than usual. Go Pirates!
Get over it geeeezzzz..... ::)
 14.
What about Pesos? (I don't remember if they are even still open)
The only waiter that used to pretty much run Peso's by himself bought it from the owner and opened up Jose's off of 1960.  Peso's is now a Pawn Shop.  Must not come through Dayton much.  ;)
 15.
Most make think im crazy, But i hope we get our shot at this Team..
Go watch them play before you say that.  8)
 16.
you play to win the game, you don't just play it just to play it
Why else would you keep score?
 17. If you want Mexican there is Jose's and Los Compadres.  So when you jump over to 1960 there will be Los on the left in the shopping center and if you go up a couple of more blocks you will see Jose's.  Personally I prefer Jose's.  Then you got BBQ, burgers and seafood west of town.  Dude, go with Jose's.  ;D
 18. Gonna'say it again.  Game won't even be close.
 19.
Yea I just wouldn't throw Yates into that.  HISD plays nothing but HISD and they're all pretty terrible.  They usually get blown out the first time they play outside HISD...ie the second round of the playoffs.
No kidding, what is up with that one writer picking Houston Yates through that bracket?  He's smokn'something.....
True...I was thinking about teams from last year and this year.  LT was a DII college team.
I didn't make it to the lbj game but I'd have to go with Friendswood being the biggest.

 24. To many if's, and's, and but's....pretty sure they won't be convicted by a Liberty County Grand Jury.  Sounds like some typical Cleveland bs.
 25. This game won't even be close.  Central should get to play their 2nd and 3rd string by halftime.  Sorry Ranger.
