I am not here to talk about any individual and i am not from evadale.but when hd played kountze you said you would be able to compare evadale and hd on the out comes of there games with ktz. so how do you compare the two after seeing them both play ktz?

I knew you would come through. Some people just ain't patient enough. AAW, notice that the game between Spurger and Silsbee has been moved to Spurger. Yes, I noticed that. I wonder why? It is the last non-district game for both teams. Friday night game, I'll be there with my headset on. I am not sure but the silsbee coach had to move it for some reason

I wouldnt be scared to say that they will be equal to are maybe a little behind Spurger/SP Noway does Foster let either team BLOW OUT BS. Its all about the match ups ;)

Yea, We also play in BS tourney. But you know as well as I do there wont be any easy wins at BS I'll buy you a coke and we will watch the the teacher(foster)and the student(issacks) go after it. :)

Spurger is DivI Finally found the alignments on the UIL site.Cayuga is in Region3 this year Div 1 so a Spurger matchup would have to come at the state tourney. Yuga has been in reg.3 a long time.Every year they get beat in the reg.tour.Will they win it this year. :( :( Catman, do you think Yuga will make it to austin this year?

H-D has lost two games this year. We lost to Hardin a playoff 2A football team and to Tenaha a playoff 1A team ranked #9 in State. In both games H-D hung in there, at one point in the Hardin game H-D was down 21-17 then Tim Taylor and Keith Gilmore got hurt and the game busted open. The Tenaha score was 15-0 at the half, H-D making big mistakes and playing without Keith Gilmore and Tim Taylor, two of our best players. H-D will be totally healthy and well rested after having two weeks to prepare for the Lions. H-D is ready and prepared to win District, also H-D is ready to beat the bigger school Kountze this friday. Since Evadale already beat Kountze, we should be able to guage how good H-D and Evadale are compared to each other. H-D 32 Kountze 12 IMOP I think HD will make a good showing in district,just dont think they are there yet. But remember you live in SETX your judged on wins & loses,ask any coach in any sport at any school. Nomatter who you played,who your missing to injuries,or what another team has done the week before. HD needs to play 1 game at a time, not one season at a time.

As of right now Spurger is in the following tourneys; Splendora, Big Sandy, and Spurger Nederlands Bulldog Classic, And Orangfeilds. I was just wondering if we'll see each other before district. What team won state? Tenaha? Oh my bad whsalum I guess i took that to offence The coach in spurger tries not to play any district teams before district,just one of those things that he dont like.Last year we ended up playing Evadale 4 times and he didnt care for that at all. I would have to find my program form state to remeber the name of the team that won state,it was not Tenaha

Spurger runs it at times and do a good job with it,but they have a few pretty good shooters. If they wont come out of the zone they play some 4 out 1 in. With a good G you can break down their zone and kick it out. On your 4 out 1 in where is most of your screening done?(to make room for cutters coming off screens?) From my veiw point most screens are done around the elbow,and some screens on the back side to help out your post are the back side shooter

Jenkins just falls in love with the athletic ablities of his players and lets them run and gun the whole year.When playoffs role around A good fundamental team that slows the game down and makes his boys play half court off & def gets yuga in trouble,been that way the last couple of years. LAZEEK, I dont think you would wont Spurger on your schedule.Just might be a little better than you think.Carefull what you say when you try to put somebody else down ;) Spurger may not beat the almighty HJ,but the would scare people like you to death ;D ;D
