Again I will thank the tournament staff for letting us be apart this fantastic tourney.AAW we also thank you for the updates & keeping us informed.My guys had a blast,Well there my guys during the summer but we normally dont get to play against teams of this caliber.So this was a good test for us(Spurger). IMOP from all the games that I got to see,Silsbee & Cleveland was the better teams through out the tourney.Good to see them play for the championship.congrats cleveland on the win

It was a good game down the last tick on the clock.the score was 41-38 silsbee,but silsbee was missing there two biggs.Spurger should have beat nederland by 10+ but we played bad down the the stretch. I am pretty sure HJ beat Anahuac.So for i think the 1a boys are hanging in,some of the other teams look real good.Its going to be a tough tourney,I wont to thank Silsbee coaches for letting us be a part of tourney this year. Thats going to the thing for our guys, I think we are bringing 7 some of the guys cant make it. Last year 2 teams from PA heat. I just assumed some of the others was AAU teams

Need to get AggiesAreWe to put in a phone call to the silsbee coach,and get us some inside info.

I was at last years tourney and there was a lot of AAU teams in it, I asked about a 1a team to see if you thought they might be wasting there time at this tourney or not,do you think they can compete or will they be blowed out every game. ;)Spurger plays 8 & 10 pm thursday unless things change between now and then.

What chance does a 1a team have in a tourney like this one.

Consistent offense :D Does anyone know who won out of White Oak and Slocum White Oak. Close ballgame...........best game was the Spurger-White Oak game. 72-70 I think..... i agree spurger-white oak game was a good one. white oak is a good looking team to be a 2a, alot of size on that club.

I agree to a point, Out of the 5 or so games i watch copeland play he was awsome on offense but didnt play much def at all.To me the MVP should play both ends of the court and help his club win. I think it was said on this thread that if you took copeland away from WH they would have still been in 5th place. I allso agree with you on SP, they need to play together all summer it will make a difference on team play.

IMO I think they got it right.The mvp should have been between felix or daniel cant go wrong with either one.I think whittaker and copeland got what they deserved.(def & off poy).Im not sure but i hear the spurger coach was the front runner for coach of the year in 25a. congrats to all the young men.

I got to see the celebration after the game they celebrated like they played the game, ALL HEART I my self injoyed it.
