  1. Nothing but RESPECT for Orangefield, that was one very tough team. GO DAWGS! Bring STATE home once again!!!
  2. I'm still waiting for "Arptiger" to speak up, he was the one spewing the most trash talk about Kirbyville last week, and we haven't heard from him. Arptiger, don't you want to man-up and admit you were wrong? Maybe apologize, or maybe even wish Kirbyville luck through the rest of the playoffs?
  3. Kevnasty, the scoreboard and integrity are all that counts, and Kirbyville won in both of those areas. Now, go practice for basketball instead of spewing ignorance.
  4. Well, where are the Arp smacktalkers now??? Arptiger, I believe you had the most to say for the last few weeks, what do you have to say now???
  5. Ok Gilmer, take care of business the rest of the way and bring State back to East Texas again. Jasper fans are behind you.
  6. Football season is over in Jasper. We will be in mourning for the next 9 months, and we'll console ourselves with basketball and baseball.
  7. Jasper has the utmost respect for Gilmer, they have a classy program and good kids. And I think the Gilmer folks respect Jasper too. They know that our Dawgs are going to play them for everything they're worth so they better be ready.
  8. arptiger, you need to go sit quietly in the corner. Kirbyville will deal with you on November 28th if your school is still alive in the playoffs.
  9. Yes, Jasper played them in the first game of the season at SFA in Nac. Jasper shut them down in the first half, but Gilmer pulled away in the second half and won 42-14.
  10. Jasper has two things going for them; The revenge factor, since they have never beat Gilmer and they want it bad, and the fact that they were not sharp against Center, it was a wake-up call and the Dawgs know what they have to do against Gilmer. I predict Jasper in a close one. HOWEVER, if the starburst busts one for a TD, and if Cedric McGill and the boys get a few int's, that might just bust the game wide open for the Dawgs.
  11. This afternoon on 97.5 ESPN Radio, they said that the trainer hooks an IV to both of Schumacker's thighs for an hour before every game. They do the same thing to NASCAR drivers before they race on hot days, but they only put one IV into one arm.
  12. Billy Joe Schumacher is very unique, in that he is an ambidextrous kicker - he can kick with either his right, or left foot. His longest field goal of the season is 72 yards, which he kicked with his right foot. His longest with his left foot was 47 yards. He determines which foot to kick with based on the weak side of the defense, and the hash mark that the ball is lined up on.
