Weak...seriously weak.  Of course he had enough room to dance a jig after that move he puts on the guy at the beginning of the run.  There's a difference between taunting and showboating and this was in no way taunting.  The rule may be in the rule book but that doesn't make preclude it from being a stupid rule.  The refs have a hard job but they compound the problem when they "selectively" enforce certain rules.  Someone said subjective earlier but I don't think it's the right word.  And what happened to the spell check on this site? 

It's too bad Manvel went DII because they could have been the team to beat LT.  That being said, I'm with Panama....42-13.

FBISD has too many schools and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Hightower and Elkins are getting athletes from Worthing, Madison, Westbury, Marshall and Willowridge.  It's almost like moving across the street over here puts you in a different High School and the zones keep changing.

It's the largest high school stadium that I'm aware of in the area....so I'd say yes.

[/quote] It's a moot point but I don't.  Those were the two best teams I've seen and I would've liked to have seen them play.  Sorry, but Brenham's D was as good as Manvel's if not better.  Brenham offense wasn't as good.  Brenham also had the size to handle much of the bull rush coming from Manvel.  I know they played in a scrimmage and that's early on and I would've liked to see the real thing.

Yea I would've liked to see them against lake travis. Two teams w/ equal talent. Well played game from manvel...very impressed but the fake punt was really not necessary up 35-7. Good clean game all the way around though.that team will be a tough out.

Beaumont Ozen on the other hand is not even mentioned or found in the same sentence as the words "state ranked". So if our defense is averaging about 187.5 yrds per game given up in the [b]toughest district in the state[/b], I doubt Ozen will be putting up 300 yards on us. These are just the facts.. [/quote] Not sure I'd agree with toughest district in the state.  3 teams had winning records on the season.  Don't give me the beat up each other routine either....no district with an 0-10 team is one of the toughest in the state.  Three of the better teams around yea...playing HISD in the second round doesn't hurt either. 

Both teams are spread...Dayton favors the pass while Manvel is pretty balanced.

Count me in on that one!!!

This is without question a better team than Dayton on paper.  Play like that first half from tonight though and I'll take the Broncos over anyone....

That was our best game of the year...Peyton Manning borrowed #8 in Purple for the first half and shredded West's D.  Defense played as well as I've seen them play all year...still not great but certainly getting better.  Play that first half and you can play with anyone.

Total dominance thus far by Vidor....pretty shocking outcome thus far.  One more score puts this one away.
