Well I took my prom date to Texas Crawfish Company east of Beaumont back when it was still open...food, football, women...what else is there?

Is that the "All you can eat" crawfish place north of I-10 that booted me out after my second bucket of crawfish?

They're returning all those starters from a winless team...that surely indicates success. It will all depend on what coach LCM gets...5 wins is probably the ceiling.

No, nothing even close...It was near the end of the game and the QB either ran a QB draw or something, don't remember exactly. But, the QB ran up the middle and Dylan absolutely demolished him...almost folded the kid in half. He got up with a little help but he was woozy and his knees were weak. If you were at that game I know you remember!!!

Let us not forget the kid from Alamo Heights that's going to Oklahoma...he definitely doesn't suck. What a great post though...when have we seen the number of great HS QBs? I'm not sure you'll go wrong with any of the top 10 QB's from Texas alone. Of course Texas HS football is still a cut above the rest...the different systems and the speed on the field is amazing. Yes, Florida is right there and California produces some pretty good ones...but man would it be great to recruit in Texas.

You would be wrong in thinking that I'd never seen him play. He looked like a good high school QB to me but I don't think he translates well to college. Of course, I really don't think that Russell Shepherd does either but that's just me. I'd take Jacob Karaam over both...and Garrett Gilbert still tops in my book. Of course I don't scout, recruit, analyze, or coach so it's just the opinion of a fairly educated football fan. I've been wrong before and the one thing I'll guarantee is I'll be wrong again.

There is no longer any such thing as a 5 yard face mask penalty at any level. They are all 15 yarders at this point.

The most important player returning for next year's team is Jerry Stewart. As long as he's there, we'll get the best football team humanly possible.
