And no I don't like Massey ratings...it's a good simulation but being able to account for all the factors and how integral each fator is in determining the outcome is impossible. Plus, there are things like momentum that cannot be quantified...hence you tend to end up with an error quotient greater than 5% which would deem it unacceptable in academics. I haven't studied the Massey Formula to that great an extent but I have attempted to formulate the same sort of program to let's say make a friendly wager or two with my cousin Vinny. Too many unknowns but heck...this Massey Character may be some supergenius einstein guy...I only tried it with the help of two PHD's. But careful...I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm entelegaaaannt.

already looked - the fact is that #1 is just as fast - and the rest of SS WR are nor far behind - if you guys got ONE fast one - then you are in a world of trouble. Our QB runs like that... but we have a whole arsenal of offensive players with speed - again what else you got? Yalls QB runs nothing like that. Tyrick runs 4.65 forty. I just read it on a recruiting website. Go back and look at the AJ video against Rosenburg-Terry. Rosenburg Terry had one of the best defenses in the state. Again with your best in the state crap - I think you believe that ALL OF TEXAS football is contained to SETX! Pot kettle...kettle pot??

Yakking all week about speed and now it's who else you got...? 5,6,8,10,15,21,25 all can run...we've seen the film too and your guys really aren't that fast...they run good routes and they catch the ball.

Not sure who'll be on who...and no don't know if our corners can cover any of the receivers...haven't seen them try and won't know 'till Saturday. Covered Brenham's receivers...and you guys don't have that much speed. Couldn't cover LT's and they don't have near the speed.

y'all are killing me...yakking about 40 times for two plus days and now I hear about track speed versus football speed blah blah blah. The kid can flat out fly...he gets outside, he's gone. Speed is not the be all end all...just know that we have it.

C'mon I haven't given a track speed yet. I just keep hearing the 40 times of SS...just throwing it out there. He ran down Dustin Harris (4.41) from behind with a 5 yard cushion. Don't know his times but ol' #1 won't just outrun him.

Last time I was on here I was trying to warn you that Dayton's all world #8 won't be able to play both ways, err, I mean be effective both ways. He'll have to chase #1 on fly routes all game long. That guy is more that a little trouble. His speed is shocking. You'll see. I would suggest Dayton leave him on Offense, cause we're gonna score anyways, over and over and over. Go Big Blue! Dude, I hate to tell you but #1 will not be the fastest player on the field Saturday. That honor always belongs to Cameron LaCour.

Hold on now...calling Dayton's opponents weak all week and bragging about numerous victories over top 10 teams. Might want to caveat that next time with "beat a depleted Heath and Everman." C'mon man...your victories look impressive and I won't take that away. Don't underestimate some of the teams we've played because they don't have the hype.

Well thats a good thing considering SS is the home team. Ya'll will probably need them. Go SS! Just our fans are cocky not the players. Our boys will be ready for whatever ya'll bring. Wow...you've changed my opinion finally...East Texas is the center of the world when it comes to football. No team in weak old south, southeast, central, west, or north Texas can boast that type of resume'. Man, I'm glad these Dayton boys won that last game because they certainly don't belong on the same field as any team from East Texas. At least they'll get the experience and have stories to tell their children for the rest of their lives. SS - We're tired of hearing about your perceived tough schedule and your game on ESPN. Rankings are exactly that...subjective rankings by people...the same people that said Everman would beat you and Tivy would beat Dayton. Come up with something better.
