Just saw the All-State list...2 years in a row for AJ...what a man that kid is!!

Yeah, where's the love SETX? Swing that western border over just slightly...We always seem to find our way back into your districts eventually. Especially if Jaspar (er?) Sillsbee and Liberty ever make it back it up to 4a.

The one thing that seems to get overlooked in all of this was that Dayton's defense last year WAS THE #1 SCORING DEFENSE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS REGARDLESS OF DIVISION. They had 4 or 5 shut-outs...can't remember. Point is that LT has seen "Great" defenses like Longview and it just doesn't matter...they will do what they do and you will not stop it. FW put it best...Novacain...next thing you know you're down by 35.

Those two just stand out because they're usually the best players on the field. Those un-heralded 5 guys up front are some of the best I've ever seen. 45 NG is one tough kid...21 may hit harder than anyone I've ever seen at the high school level. No slouches anywhere...just not recognized as much!

Where's that all time wins list? Dayton's gotta be moving up...slowly...at least 20 playoff appearances right?

Now where in the heck has this been...It took till Wednesday to get the trash talkin' started... HALF THE TOWN OF DAYTON?? UH REMEMBER THAT WHOLE I WAS HAVING SURGERY THING. WELL I WENT TO WALGREENS DURING THE GAME (while listening on shine all nine of course) AND I DID NOT PASS ONE SINGLE CAR GOING TO AND FROM WALGREENS ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. HALF THE TOWN...PFFFFHHHH.

Darn-it man...Silsbee?? I'd love to make this thing...toss it in Beamont or something...I can get there in about 40 minutes. Heck, why not make it as far as possible for me and have it at that seafood place right over the bridge from Orange in Bridge City (can't ever remember the name of that place but my fave over in that area). Oh, and I do quite a bit of work in Orange and Hardin Counties so any good places to hang out and have a drink or two??

Haven't heard about the meet and greet. Not sure how the boys will be next year. JV QB is a freshman so I'm guessing he's the heir apparent but not sure. There's always good players here...sometimes I have no idea where they come from. Don't know if we'll have another team like this in the near future...why do you think we wanted to beat the pants off of L-Town THIS YEAR!! My guess is we'll still be good but this good...can't say that with confidence.

Yea, don't know what happened there...got out of hand early...56-0 at half I believe. They had a better team than that...that was a home game for them too...I hope it wasn't homecoming.

We don't treat anyone with respect pre-game...it's not until the game is over before we give the credit where the credit is due...and yes we will credit ourselves !
