The Defense gets after it...most of the time. Its the offense that makes you guys good (sounds familiar). It sure makes a week long when you're waiting for the game. Common misconception. It does make for a long week, but hump day's almost over.

Give it up man, he was down. If the coach had to review it 300 times in slow mo to see it was a fumble then I wouldn't fault a ref for making a bad call then and there at full speed with ONE shot at it.

you've gotta watch the offense as a whole. It's a trip how people look at Gilbert and don't realize when he rolls out his running under half speed, but no one's even close to sacking him. Fellas, that means his line is blocking. And if you give him this kind of time to roll out, he kills you with presission passes. 8) 8) This sums it up the best. He won't look any different from JK until you see him work pre-snap. This kid sees the field like Peyton Manning. It won't hit you how good he is until you see him live. I didn't believe it watching highlights last year either...then I saw him live twice. Wow, kid is on another level from anyone else in Texas.

Their offense is good. These teams mirror each other. This will be a close game decided by the playmakers. I just tend to favor #8. Brenham proved you can stop him...they also proved it takes three players to do it. I like 10 on 8 matchups.

Both the Washinton twins were trash talking the entire night, you could actually hear them from where we were sitting..but I also noticed they never cut back on any of those outside runs. They were looking for the corner and it they didn't get it just went down or out of bounds. They weren't looking for any kind of contact. I guess they saw what was happening to their QB who was one freakin' tough SOB.

I haven't been up there since the new toll road was open but that's mapquest's fastest way at 3 hours 37 minutes and 200 miles Take 290 to TX 130 North (toll road) Exit 413 FM 971 left toward Granger Turn right on N. Austin Ave and follow directions above. If you want the best or second best (usually depending on which place I've been to last) BBQ in the state - Louie Mueller's BBQ in Downtown Taylor or Cooper's BBQ in downtown Llano. Worth the trip if you're staying up there Friday night and looking to burn some time before the game on Saturday morning. Get there early though...there will be a LONG line for Sat. Lunch.

3.5 at most...buddy in Liberty Hill says it takes him about 4 hours from Liberty Hill to Dayton driving without his kids. I wouldn't got into Austin and take I-35 either. Can't remember the roads but basically take a right in Elgin toward Taylor and take a left before Taylor. Cuts off a good half hour. I'll post directions, let me mapquest real fast.
