I don't know how good the bc sprinters are going to be this year but we have a 400 runner who should or come close to breaking 50. We also have several good distance runners who should all be healthy and ready for track.

Ryan Wise placed 3 at the state cc meet and ran a 16:25. Josh Daws placed 11 and ran a 17:17.

I was at the meet and saw Drew Bean run. He looks like hes picked up right where he left off last track season. He ran a 15:30 for the 3-mile course and set a new course record by almost 20 seconds (Aaron Brannen had the record with a 15:49).

The Bridge City boys cc team is ranked 8 in 3A and the girls are ranked 9. Congratulations to Ryan Kelly and Morgan Broussard for their 1 place finishes at the Dayton Invitational this past weekend.The boys finished 2 as a team and the girls finished 3.
