Chelsey Sveinsson, who just completed her SOPHOMORE year of HS, from Greenhill, TX, won the 3200m at Nike Outdoor Nationals with a 10:04!! and then came back and won the 1600m in 4:40. She could end up being one of the fastest distance runners to come out of Texas.

Well at least they beat Oregon. The only team I don't like more than Texas A&M is Oregon.

Congrats Sam! He is a great guy and worked very hard to get where he is. I was lucky to get to know him and to run with him this year(even though he did lap me off the track twice!). As for cross country, if we stay healthy and keep up the hardwork, i think we can surprise a lot of people in the fall.

I think we talked about this last year, she could be an awesome heptathlete if she chooses that path.

Bonnie Richardson from Rochelle won the 1A Championships by herself for the 2ND YEAR IN A ROW!!!! Thats just amazing. She was 1st in the Long Jump(17-04.5),2nd in Discus(126-09),1st in High Jump(5-08.00),4th in the 100m(12.51) and 3rd in the 200m(25.78). She finished with a total of 38 points. The second place team had 36 points and only had to get 5th in the mile relay to win..they finished 7th. Great story, congrats to Bonnie!
